She likes zany comedies that are over-the-top like Norbit, but the humor in Napoleon Dynamite is things like the props, set design, and how off-kilter all the characters behave. Of course people loved it for the one-liners, but a lot of the charm and humor of the movie comes from the absurd characters who are played completely straight.
