You named like a thousand other possession movies. They're all the same. These are the same people who tricked me into watching hereditary when it was just another exorcist/possession movie. Malignant was a breath of fresh air from this trash.

It was fine, the side characters were fun, I wish it had been more about their dynamic than focusing on how much the main girl sucked. It was literally all her fault

I can't find a good version of it online to watch. It is all shitty blurry cams with embedded foreign subtitles with gambling ads
i went in without knowing a damn thing about it. enjoyed it, but felt like it could have been longer to flesh some ideas or characters out more. the directors said they were forced to cut 20 minutes out to make it 90 minutes
It felt like it was missing some critical exposition.

>why'd she jump at the end? because she realized what was going on and thought she had killed her dad? because the demon needed at least one to do it? did it take her soul or did she just die?
it's unsatisfying to have to fill in the ambiguity with what you think would make the best plotline.
that makes a ton of sense actually goes the first half was tight and coherent and then I felt completely untethered going through the motions for the last act. stuck the ending though and that counts for a lot

If your horror movie is longer than 90s minutes then you suck as a director or it better be kino.
If you want a better horror that just came out I suggest Cobweb. There's a woman in it with giant ass and DSL. Gorgeous. Dear God those hips. Some good scare sequences. Interesting premise. Strong direction. haven't finished it
