Because The Rock is a charisma vacuum and literally hasn’t appeared in a single memorable movie.

Pain&Gain is shit and doesn't hold a candle to Predator, T1, T2, or Total Recall
The Running Man and Conan have considerable flaws but I would also vastly prefer them to Pain&Gain

Black person what, the directors have to do everything in their power just to stop him from raising his fricking eyebrow in every single movie, and he's too self-conscious about always being a badass to ever take on a heartfelt comedy project like Arnie did with Junior.

Annie has been in cult classics for over 40 years, while the Rock was a homosexual wrestler and starred in B tier movies at best for years, occasionally co-starring with some bigger names. Most of his films are shit like GI Joe and Jumanji, kid friendly action slop

It's really quite simple. Arnold has made classics, the Rock has not.

The Rocks "films" are popcorn movies. There is nothing ground-breaking about them.

Are you old enough to remember the hype around T2?
It was one of the highest budget motion pictures of the time. It had ground-breaking special effects.

Then my homie Arnold makes True Lies? God damn man, my dude is in some CLASSICS.

Off the top of my head I can't name 1 Rock movie.

    Also, check em

    How bizarre

I might be completely wrong but it always seemed to me like Arnold was along the ride for his movies because he was surrounded by talented and unique directors who knew how to use him. It’s why Pain and Gain was probably one of his better roles because no matter what you want to say about Michale Bay he has a style. He was also good in Jumanji. Also, The Rock on the other hand shoves his own personal crap into movies. What I mean is how he has to shove people like Kevin Hart or Samoan background into things in attempts to do shitty comedy or show off “mug heritage.”

Arnie's a total shabbos goy now but his 10th best movie is still better than the Rock's best which would be....the Rundown? Jumanji? His career output is really underwhelming.

probably cause he never turns down a role. It seems,

which results in the over-saturation of shitty movies with this guy in all of em.

He does turn down roles, actually. He refuses to play straight villains or someone who gets beat up by the hero, for example. He only appeared as The Scorpion King in the mummy movie because he got a contract that said they had to give him a spin-off prequel where he's the hero, and he ruined the pretty good Black Adam casting by not allowing them to make him a villain that gets defeated by Shazam.

Imagine if Arnie had said no to playing The Terminator because he didn't want to "ruin his image" by playing an evil character.

In fact his roles are highly, carefully curated. More than most actors. He's always a producer on his films for a reason.

We always have this thread and the answer is always the same: the filmography. Arnie has the movies, Rocky doesn't.

      >Rocky doesn't.
Funny, considering that the Rock would actually have turned down starring in Rocky because of how it ends with him being punched blind and losing. His ego wouldn't be able to handle it. And if he DID take the role he would be utterly incapable of acting on Stallone's level, turning the movie into a pile of shit with no soul. Like, just imagine The Rock trying to do the awkward flirting scenes. He just wouldn't be able to do them. The closest he comes is in Jumanji but even there you've got the comedy angle that means he won't have to actually put his heart in it, and he's outshone by literally everyone else who's playing kids in adult bodies.
