One of Godzillas super powers is that he is basically not allowed to be beaten and must always win out in the end.
also in that comic Superman was hit by both Godzillas atomic breath and Captain Marvels magic lightning, let's just assume by comic book standards that the magic lightning tore open Supermans defenses and Godzillas attack just punched through that hole.
and he is only in a temporary coma anyway. he'll show up being better in two issues max.
I'd argue that Superman is the definition of "can punch away forces of nature". He once stopped a tsunami that could've wiped out the entire eastern seaboard by just flying really fast and creating a "wall" of sonic booms in front of the waves, and that's not even getting into the moronic shit he does with the rest of the JLA, pic related. In the original movie he reverses fricking time by flying around the planet backwards. And then you have Superboy Prime who punched so hard that it retconned things out of comics.
So let's not get into which character is more broken unless you want me to point out that Godzilla once played a basketball match with Charles Barkley.
Supes once punched Braniac so hard all his prior incarnations felt it
Godzilla willed himself back to life by spitting in God's face and killing angels.
They're both cool
Why is Superman so powerful? He's just a guy that can fly. He shouldn't even be able to scratch Godzilla.
Why did everyone leave Atom Smasher's corpse? Did the writer hate Atom Smasher that much?
Big lizard >>>>> small man
Toho Contract
>SUPER b***h jobs to GODCHADla
Goku solos Godzilla btw
And Superman
Because nobody wants to see a big Superman/Godzilla crossover where Superman knocks Godzilla out with one punch.
Godzilla is akin to a force of nature that walks around on two legs. You can't punch away a hurricane or a supernova

Supes, WW, and MM failed to move the Earth. God-Ion had to bail them out.
Superman fans need to stop posting out of context scans.
Godzilla bodies everyone he fights have you not seen the Avengers vs Godzilla
I think people are underestimating Godzilla. His feats are as good as--if not better--than Superman's.
I think people are just not used to non-human looking characters being powerful.
Unlike Superman, Godzilla conquered Hell
Godzilla destroyed Olympus too.
This is an easy fix, just have it coincide with some incident that prevents Supes from absorbing solar rays like in DKR.
How fast is Godzilla?
Faster than Superman.
What? Superman is like an ant to Godzilla. Both figuratively and literally.
Godzila>Superman>>>>>>>>>>>Goku

This has been debunked.
Godzilla is literally a huge living walking radiation nuke Kaiju
Supes is weak to radiation. Godzilla is a walking nuke. Do the math.
