Being a woman is brave, buddy. Get with the times.
aw, wee lamb.
it was a brave decision to make such a trash movie
goteem
>Nearly kills his parents and siblings and almost starts a civil war
>gets a slap on the wrist at the end
And the civil war problem is never solved, they accept that her father is a liar and that there are witches out there creating monsters
I love children's movies
Well to be fair, the tone of the movie couldn't decide if them fighting was serious or a joke
Because it was very brave of them to put 80% of the budget into the hair animation and none of it into the script
Because they couldn't call the movie rape
I guess “Mother Bear” would make people think it had something to do with Brother Bear.
Why not just Merida though?
Or alternatively they could give it a traditional fairy tale sounding name, like “The Princess And The Bear Queen.”
But the actual answer is it was part of this trend where Disney princess films would have monolexical titles
>Tangled (2010)
>Brave (2012)
>Frozen (2013)
They originally intended to call it 'The Bow And The Bear'. Way better.
The Princess and the Frog performed below expectations. They weren't taking any risks with the similar sounding The Bear and the Bow name
The single adjective title scheme was latched onto because it made Princess movies sound more gender neutral.
yeah, that too. Tangled, Brave and Frozen were blockbusters, so the gender neutral strategy works
I thought it was a play on Braveheart, since you know, scots and all that
I like her hair.
Because Tangled made single-adjective movie titles "cool".
it's a reference to Merida's last line. Still a bit forced
