Why is Marvel Comics criticized for being Woke but DC Comics isn’t? Especially since DC Comics is much more Woke than Marvel comics.

Meanwhile DC Comics legit tried to permanently replace their White Male leads with minorities.
And they are making more and more characters gay every day (Tim Drake, Jon Kent, Alan Scott, Etta Candy Garth) and creating more LGBT characters (even making a non-binary Asian the main character of the mystical comic universe).
Yet you don’t hear Cinemaphile talk about this. Yet you have a hundred threads complaining about Marvel acting like they are ESG comics. Why?

Because no one reads modern DC Comics and knows what is going on in the universe. Pretty much most of Cinemaphile has jumped ship. No one even bothers to pirate the comics. Even the DC storytimes get hardly any replies. DC Comics is practically dead to Cinemaphile. Meanwhile Marvel has people reading their comics even if it is to be angry about it. They have commitment.

It's not that Cinemaphile cares more about Marvel. It's that the love for Marvel died years (around 2016) ago and now people are just apathetic. Endgame was the send off for most Marvel fans.
All the writers that wrote for the ANAD Marvel initiative were mostly demonized for thier efforts and tried to seek refuge in the now Bendis-fueled DC. Anyone who read DC at that time knew that B(end)is was coming. Meaning he's going to bring all his mediocre friends from the freshly ruined Marvel to write for DC as well.
After DoomClock (which I consider to be DC's Endgame in terms of quality), Snyder wrote the now Mediocre Death Metal which was kinda a send off from traditional DC to a more Marvelized DC.
Most people on Cinemaphile hated DC after Nu52 but found solice in Rebirth. But with all the hacks coming from Marvel over to DC, they knew it was the end for them as well. We're kinda in a post-mourning phase in DC like we were for Marvel post Secret Wars. Soon all Capeshit will be seen as a joke. And hopefully move on from this horrible dream.

DC is just late to doing the same shit, but it makes sense considering it started doing this shit after Bendis joined, which, coincidentally, is the time when Marvel slowed down on doing it.

CURRENTLY yes because Marvel went woke earlier and much more intensely and has already largely learned the lesson and moved on.

I think it's related to how MCU made Marvel extremely mainstream, not helped with the whole milkshake and Heather Antos controversy making people think woke people wants to work at Marvel and Marvel prioritizes hiring them, even if DC does the same.
Because people stopped reading comics when Marvel fricked up. The people who still read capeslop enjoy the homosexualry.
