All new asgardian children have been kidnapped. So Heimdall's son uses his facetime eyes to communicate with Thor so he can know where they are located.
That kid is now the holder for Thor's axe. Basically he gave it to him.

How do you stand the "humor"? I saw it in a packed theater and it was so uncomfortable. The movie is non stop jokes but the theater was practically dead silent for 80% of it.
It was one of the funniest marvel films imo, I laughed more during this movie than ragnarok even. Taika at his finest
i like his humor. though i felt ragnorak was a bit split with marvel shit and waititi's way of doing things, but this feels pure waititi and its kino.

It's just shit. It looks cheap, the jokes suck, and the story isn't about anything. Like at the end Thor adopts a kid, does that feel like something the film was building up to before it happened? It just comes out of the blue so Hemsworth's daughter could have a part in the film.
because it's more nu-shit that just tramples over what the mcu managed to build up. nobody will remember it in a month like nobody remembers shangchi aside from the ricecel memes.
How can anyone still care about this shit? I understand watching all the movies up until Endgame because you were already watching this story for a decade. But now? Holy frick.

It had a budget of 250 million. It has already made 300+ million and it hasn't even been out for a week.
The first half was awkwardly paced and rushed. I really liked the second half though so overall the movie was a win for me. I would have preferred Thor bequeathing his hammer to the girl though. Would have felt more in-line with him coming to terms with his past not holding him back and also making the last sequence not look quite as awkward.
