Why is saying that "Mordecai's love arc ruined Regular Show" an accepted opinion, but saying the same for Finn's love life in Adventure Time so controversial here?

Different fanbases, RS didn't particularly attract dumb homosexuals from tumblr or women that love cringe romance soap-opera melodrama to their fanbase, AT on the other did that after they run out of ideas for funny adventures to add bad drama.

Most people agree that Finn's love life focused episodes like Frost and Fire, Red Throne and Breezy were some of the worst episodes in the whole series. The main difference of course is, Finn was actually capable of having some good romantic content in the series even with the particularly terrible episodes, while Mordecai's love life was obnoxious and pathetic pretty much all the way through.

One was a look at potential relationships, some more feasible than not, and the episode were generally boring but inoffensive. The other was a whiny prick constantly making himself less and less likable every time his relationship is the focus.

Also because the love triangle drama episodes came out around the time that the episodes were getting less memorable

you could use a metaphor this moronic to justify anything, go fricking have a nice day
        >"This show has one bad episode and 119 good ones, so the entire show is bad!"
        >"What but there's 119 good ones"
        >"heh... well you wouldn't eat a sandwich if there was one drop of shit mixed in with all the mayo"
        nitpicking homosexual shit

one bad episode out of 119 isn't comparable to how often Mordecai's stupid love live came up in the show

Unless a show is extremely status quo, the bad episodes don't exist in isolation. Sometimes a crap episodes sets up something that will be recurring or even essential to the series and it won't make sense unless you watch that bad episode.

If a frind of mine decides to use my wedding, me and my engaged's special day, as a soapbox for sprouting his own personal relationship issues onto my other friends and family relatives, i have every right to kick him out.
