Maybe the outsourced animators wouldn't get insulted so much if their incompetence didn't force boarders to have to fricking keyframe out scenes and increase their workload.
actually this. its a trend that is pretty weird to see but its makes fantastic results vs others that dont bother, when you get the minimal sitcom shit that has been the normal for a decade plus.
want to be an animator for dying platform of tv cartoons in the us and be taken seriously and never get the attention you deserve? do story boarding.
It's thinking like this that is why the west has nothing close to a sakuga culture.
There are no stars in western 2D animation to aspire to, just drones told to follow instructions/copy.
sakuga culture is cancer and unfortunately even the west is doing the shit now. whatever stars you're thinking about arent japanese, they are french. most of that shit is outsourced or atleast the ones that are actually competently made and not the over flashy sword clash ground cube shit you cant even tell whats happening but "it looks cool and they are so powerful" because so much shit is going on just for it to drop back to still frame lip flapping a few seconds later.
ill give credit where its due though, lately some people are starting to focus on character animations to do it to and not exclusively making it for some shitty sword clash or fist fight. but like most things in anime they will normalize what actions they will do it for and we will have the same problem all over again.
When you're such a superstar animator that shows will hire you to animate a small part of it. something that doesn't happen in the west unless you're James Baxter or John K.
>send clear instructions >the overseas studio fricks up >you lose money sending again
Ah, yes, them being people means you can't be upset at a job poorly done.
>Americans can't be asked to actually create anymore >Have to tell foreigners to do their work >Get angry at foreigners for not having full grasp of English
Better question: Why can't we go back to actually making shit? Isn't homelessness a huge problem here?
Protectionism or to wreck the economy and wages. Either would make it cheaper to hire locally. >homelessness
Isn't going to be solved by an artisan niche.
You may not realise it but unemployment is worse than you think when you realise a lot of education is basically a welfare state policy to deal with idle hands.
Homelessness in the United States right now is the result of a select few real estate companies buying up all the cheap housing and forcing people to rent it forever. We're leaving capitalism and going back to feudalism.
yea it's an issue. If you're trying to but a house in some places it's really likely that you're going to get outbid by a landlord with a ton of property or a corp.
90% of homeless are unable to function due to mental illness/drug addiction. Cities focus more on getting them out of view instead of forcing them to get their shit together.
Any production that can't factor in variables like revisions into the schedule is shit to begin with. Expecting it to come out perfectly the first time is delusional.
Actually most of the time overseas production studios have to lose money on retakes. Retakes that happen when producers make mistakes and send incorrect notes.
Even if this were true, and I don't think it is, any negatives would be offset by having the storyboarding and animation done under one roof. No matter which cartoon you're looking at, the best ones are where the animation studio is creatively empowered to do things the way they want. They know their limits and strengths better than a production crew half a world away.
>Even if this were true, and I don't think it is
But it is, especially since they fall back on cliche elements even harder than board driven shows, least from my observations.

The mediocrity factor tends to be higher on average for them though.
this board's pretty adept at making statements about subjects it doesn't fully comprehend.
Anglos are genuinely garbage people. They are by nature selfish and arrogant despite being completely talentless. Their millennials, who have no cultural achievement unlike the Anglos in the last century, especially have the worst traits.
Koreans should openly accuse Anglo subhumans of being fricking subhuman. They will never ever stop being buttholes
we love blaming faceless or generalized groups for everything
Jews, White ppl, the blacks, Russia, China, etc...
Maybe the outsourced animators wouldn't get insulted so much if their incompetence didn't force boarders to have to fricking keyframe out scenes and increase their workload.
That's not the incompetence of the animators. It's the incompetence of the producers who think they can finish a cartoon in less and less time.
actually this. its a trend that is pretty weird to see but its makes fantastic results vs others that dont bother, when you get the minimal sitcom shit that has been the normal for a decade plus.

>sakuga culture is cancer
Why? do you think Saguka = big ass explosions or flash action scenes? because if so you completely misunderstand the word.
Dumb question:
What's "Sakuga culture?"
When you're such a superstar animator that shows will hire you to animate a small part of it. something that doesn't happen in the west unless you're James Baxter or John K.
Because we know all you losers will do is b***h online.
Same reason jokes about Indian tech support are kosher to the masses.

Because you can pay one American animator $70k a year, or you can pay one Korean animator $27k a year.

British genes

Damn right

>studio team
>liberal as frick
checks out
>why are the people I am undermining by working for dirt cheap mad at me?!
Is this person moronic?
Switch to script-driven shows, hire an ex-pat to supervise, and ship all boarding jobs to Korea. Problem solved.

Civilizations have never not been imperial
I hate americans so fricking much.
USA is evil
WHO IS DRIVING?!
BEAR IS DRIVING!
HOW CAN THAT BE?!

You're working with spoiled brats. We're not all like that, but you're not going to see those of us who actually work for a living.
Everybody that works in LA is a spoiled brat.
blinde belief that because they are the dominant force means they are the best in everything
