OP you're going to need to provide more evidence than just making a claim. Because I've never heard a single black person ever mention this

Only black women and twitter blacks care about "representation". Real homies don't care about that shit. I'd just watch BET all day if I NEEDED to identify with the television shows I watch.

This is arguably the best Scooby-Doo show. It's easily top 5 which you wouldn't expect from the kidified spin-off.

It isn't, but for those for whom it is, it's the music. It's got Ghostbusters funk.

Came on right after you make the decision to skip school.

Because it aired in the middle of the day on weekdays. A disproportionate amount of its viewers were skipping/suspended from school.

      Lmao

I'm black and it is infact my favorite version. If I had to guess, older versions of Scooby-Doo were never really watched by older black people, but being a kid this show was on a bunch and was surprisingly good. After it you had the shitty what's new Scooby-Doo show and every iteration after was about as bad so it's defacto the only one a black person would have fond memories of.

The OG show is a close second, I feel like they never revisited the crazy-list-of-items gag Fred would always request for his traps after it ended..

Black here. I used to watch this all the time when I was suspended from school at my grandma's house. I loved the music. Good vibes in the version.
