Quiz shows are comfy, and The Chase is pretty decent. The only thing I don't like about it is that it feels rare for people to actually win it. It's decent TV if you're browsing the TV guide and don't know what you want to watch.
Shaun seems like he'd be a normal guy too, he just enjoys playing his little evil 'character' on the show.
But yeah the other 4 are various levels of sperg.
Oh you don't know this one?
The appeal of trivia is that with every question you are constantly invited to rejoin the well established news watching clique. Sublimate yourself to the authority of the question worth answering because it was asked.
>The Chase
Fine. Relies on player skill, decent banter.
What I don't understand are things like deal or no deal (historically), or tipping point now. Tipping Point has to be the worst of them all that is still going.
Tipping Point is shit but there's at least something of a general knowledge element that can help you out - ultimately it occupies a crappy 4-5pm graveyard slot so it's probably cheaper to make than whatever would replace it.
DOND was pure luck nonsense, it was only popular because Noel is a weird national treasure for menopausal women and they liked the forced 'friendships' between all of the contestants.

But why the chase though, whats wrong with QI or something?
>whats wrong with QI
QI has been shit for 10-something years.
Keeps their brain active so they don't get dementia
The banter
It’s crack for me
Best quiz show with no gay forced gimmicks
In America it’s these 3 shows that old people love
Fun fact: Bob Barker is still alive. He's 99, still roaming the streets mutilating canine and feline genitalia.
no family feud or antiques roadshow?
Oh right yeah they watch those shows as well. They also watch a bunch of shows from the Game Show Network.
Yes I know
I lied moron. You really think a 99 year old man is spaying and neutering pets on his own in the streets? You must be a holdover from euro-hours
I knew, I was just trying to be funny
I guess. Game shows can be pretty kino though. Depends on the host, and the format
So America is just obsessed with money?
You juat posted half of the reason. Bradders and the Chasers elevate the show.
Chaser banter is godly. Other shows cannot compete, especially not Tipping Point
fanny chmeler moment is pure kino
David vs Goliath appeal
it's alright
the multiple choice is always the best part of these shows so millionaire will always be better
too bad clarkson only does like 3 eps a year and 2 of them are homosexual celebrity editions
Darragh is the only chaser who doesn’t have Asperger’s.
the vixen is alright, and she's oddly attractive without the costume
And he’s the worst one, unsurprisingly
Shaun seems like he'd be a normal guy too, he just enjoys playing his little evil 'character' on the show.

Golden age of The Chase is over. It’s shit now
So what game shows does Cinemaphile agree that they are boomer shows?
>The Chase
Fine. Relies on player skill, decent banter.

>all the counters go into one zone
>which zone will you play?
Yeah I wonder you dumb c**t of a presenter, unbelievable, no skill at all just dumb luck
So why did they rig Game shows again?
It makes you realise blacks really are dumb as they always lose
