Why isn't Sonic Boom fondly regarded? Is it just association with the shitty games or something?
Don't try to say it's genuinely unfunny because you are wrong about that...

The Chris Chan/Misery parody episode is still hilarious.
>Why isn't Sonic Boom fondly regarded?
It is.
Its a good episode to watch around Halloween
>Why isn't Sonic Boom fondly regarded?
It is. This is a shit thread.
You don't understand Sonic like *I* do.
irony overload. we need to return to sincerity.
It had good ratings even though nobody had faith in it. Then CN sabotaged it. Now it's a cult favorite and fondly regarded. If anything it's gotten more popular.
It was mostly only watched by Sonic fans.
>filtered by marble zone
sad
Sonic Underground is better tbh
Contrarian.
What are you talking about? Fans liked the show.
Is Tails actually funny/have funny moments in this or is he the annoying genius straightman that sets up the jokes everyone else makes
He's hilarious
Amy is especially good in Boom. They flirt and Sonic doesn't try to avoid her like a plague.
Amy got very annoyed in that episode, but Tails was probably the best one.
>Don't try to say it's genuinely unfunny because you are wrong about that
It was snarky meme humor for zoomers. Nah.
it was coming to netflix, what happened?
The humor gets tiring quickly which you only really notice when streaming episodes in succession, which is how people watch it now.
The Americanization of media where everyone is just sweatily making sarcastic jokes about the source material is, weirdly enough, not super appealing to the people who are watching this because they loved the original. There is just something so distinctly "huhhuhhuh USA USA" about writing something that isn't as smart as it thinks it is, but has to constantly assert that me and you, the audience, we're the clever ones, because we don't buy into all this silly crap. Macho pseudo-intellectual BS
Irony is so boring. Sarcasm is so boring. It is deeply insecure to its core. I don't buy it, give me a thousand hours of shows and movies and books and games that are full-heartedly genuine and silly and loves and believes in itself for it.
>my thread was uninteresting so I'll just hijack an existing thread with my useless post instead
Cope.

Do you have any opinions regarding the Mario fandom and a so-called "mandate" they believe it has?
Airing half of it on a cable network no one has tends to ruin a show's popularity.
Probably because it's generic as frick and doesn't stand out in any way unless you're a Sonicgay who only consumes Sonic-related media.
Because Sonic automatically stands for shit among sane people. The open world game looks like utter ass, no matter what those thumbnail-Wojaks trying to make me believe.
Even if it's good, I can't watch Sonic related media without feeling ashamed. Especially since the official Sonic representative screwed his mother.
