Why Latinos love cartoons so much? Every cartoon that gets out will have a Spanish speaking fanbase, complete with memes and fanart, always. Why?
Why Latinos love cartoons so much? Every cartoon that gets out will have a Spanish speaking fanbase, complete with memes and fanart, always. Why?
they love Dragon Ball more
Nah. I'm Latino and I don't like anything past DBZ. GT gets a pass because Pan.
dragonball is cartoon, it was broadcast before 1995 in every single non-anglo country and "manga" and "animei" was created in 1995 at least marketing speaking.
Why do Americans think Latinos only watch anime? Who gave them that fricking moronic idea?
nobody gives a shit about south america or mexico bro
Because why would you watch the slop that America produces when you can just watch anime? Cartoons are only pushed on Americans because American companies want them to buy toys based on them. Other countries can choose to air whatever cartoons they want without the baggage of American capitalism, so they'll just show what's actually good.
I'd rather watch cartoons over anime, no sea pendejo mijo
meu nobre, re-airing American classics from the 1940s+ is like 50% of open air broadcasts here (and the other 50% is gonna be Chavez and Chapulin Colorado)
>chavez
>chapulin colorado
https://revistaquem.globo.com/TV-e-Novelas/noticia/2020/07/chaves-deixa-o-sbt-apos-36-anos.html
Because it's infamous to us animation dorks in America what happened with you and Adult Swim Latin America
I have a chilean friend and he fricking loves anime. He barely cares about any cartoons and I don't blame him.
I can tell that he is a little lulu fan the one from 1996 cartoon
Oh
dude more than half of the western fanbase is from latin america, just look the touhou community
What Op said is even more true for anime. Literally even the most obscure ova has a cult fanbase somewhere in latin america. They fricking love anime.
You're in charge of kids programming in some LatAm shithole. You get one million pesos (worth about three fiddy) to license cartoons for the kids block.
Do you get a hundred episodes of japanese telenovela, or one american shitcom? Nobody speaks jap or english so you must dub it.
Why do you mention sitcoms when those aren't aimed at children?
Fresh Prince of Bel Air aired in saturday mornings on Mexico's Channel 7, on the block aimed at children, for example. There's weird biases on what is for children and what isn't. Objectively I shouldn't had watched Ghost Sweeper Mikami when I was 4, but I did anyway.
Do you have a redhead fetish now?
Never did
I have a fetish for cleavage and skimpy short skirt dresses, as well as large fluffy hairdos thanks to the bluehaired ghost girl who joined her after like the third episode (its been nearly 20 years, pls understand).
It also really appealed to me for already loving the classic monsters from Universal so the spooky stories and ghosts designs were neat
Every culture likes anime more.
Ok so where is Dragon Ball Z World theme parks? I don't see any worldwide
Latinos don't like modern American cartoons. Like everyone else, they like anime.
>Latinos don't like modern American cartoons
Regular Show and Adventure Time are pretty well regarded here (Brazil).
Woody Wood Pecker is also an immortal classic around these parts.
Go to brownland place
See dragon ball backpacks, itachi jackets, nezuko shirts.
all my friends like bluey
Bluey isn’t American.
I wish she were
because cartoons are fun to watch and they grew up with them. do you want to bring up race?
>race
OP literally did not bring up race though, he's asking about a cultural quirk that is present across the Latin American world. He didn't say "why do mestizos like cartoons".
There are a lot of latinos so a lot of memes.
Also this it doesn't matter what "race" they are.
because it's true, Black person
We prefer the term LatinX
That's only moronic leftists (mostly White) Americans
we use it all the time especially bcuz it pisses off dumb gringos and spaniard midwits, youre just regurgitating the cope that ppl in the us created
i dont like tiny thx
>We use it all the time
No we fricking don't, not even as a troll or actual activism. Universities here say "Latine" for gender neutral shit, with an E the X thing is literally 100% limited to the USA.
That's considered very offensive to actual Latinos
You prefer my dick in your mouth.
Only Mexico cares about western animation
South America is Anime territory
t. filthy third world citizen
I care about Western animation
t. Peru
When you say "western animation", do you mean good old shit like Popeye or Looney Tunes? Or do you mean low budget/no effort modern crap for autistic 20-somethings like Adventure Time or Steven Universe?
Popeye was my dad's stuff. I can appreciate it but that's it. Looney Toons was my childhood and will always like it. Adventure Time was my childhood too. Steven Universe is... curious. Never got my attention but I can see why it got a massive following and fanbase.
Also the sneering at 2010s cartoons, I never got why a significant part of Cinemaphile hates them. My guess it's because a lot of Cinemaphile is 30 or older than 30 years old, and grew up in the 90s, and anything that isn't a 90s cartoon/follow their philosophy is therefore bad.
Popeye and Looney Tunes were made in the 30s and 40s.
But yes, people don't like 2010s cartoons from America because they're low budget/no effort.
Actually, no one cares if they are low budget as long as the story is good and you get good memories from them.
>no one
People with standards do. That's the thing about autistic people and these no-effort shows, their imaginations have to do most of the heavy-lifting.
Did you just call the whole of South America autistic?
The opposite. South America doesn't have very high autism rates compared to English speaking countries. Autism is higher in countries with broken households and high divorce rates.
>South America doesn't have very high autism rates compared to English speaking countries.
That doesn't mean it's low btw
>But yes, people don't like 2010s cartoons from America because they're low budget/no effort.
This is why I just watch EU cartoons like Tawog . Gumball stands out because it has good fricking animation instead of "calarts" crap like Oversaturated time, Regular shit, and gay Universe.
Gumballgays are fricking delusional
You had like one decent season before Ben completely shat the bed
Also don't even try to bring up your european Emmys, they're pity awards
Pendleton, Quintel, and Rebecca's shows were not even good in their first or any season at all since their animation/visuals of their respective shows were so fricking shit that it really just made my eyes bleed. Ben Boncquelet has saved animation in the 2010's because he wasn't your typical calarts gay that uses cheap animation like all NA gays do.
>Also don't even try to bring up your european Emmys, they're pity awards
Would rather let EU give out awards to cartoons and what not instead of NA because who gives a shit about the actual Emmys?
Your the one who is being delusional lmao.
>shits on calarts style when TAWOG was the show that kicked off the beanmouth trend
Ben didn't save jack shit, he was a frenchie furgay who made a mediocre show based on an already mediocre concept
Also nobody gives a shit about TAWOG anymore except Plebbit zoomers, while other cartoons from that era are still getting discussions about it
moron Adventure time started the beanmouth trend not Tawog lmao
>Ben didn't save jack shit, he was a frenchie furgay who made a mediocre show based on an already mediocre concept
Pendleton, Quintel, Rebecca didnt do jack shit more than Ben their shows are just "adult stuff" put into it but most of that is fricking moronic because people think its "deep" but in reality its not. Unlike Tawog it has a interesting concept and was executed well in its concept and the show uses mix media art and make it so every single thing or character in that show was detailed and distinct.
>also nobody gives a shit about TAWOG anymore except Plebbit zoomers, while other cartoons from that era are still getting discussions about it
Anon only AT is the cartoon that gets talked about nowadays in your so called argument and even then its just shitting on the show most of the time. I have seen more Gumball posts than SU and RS posts since both of those ended lmao and not even comparable to Tawog.
Keep coping gay
The only threads that TAZOG gets nowadays is just a bunch of Terigayging, with barely any discussion about the show itself
>interesing concept and was executed well
Oh sure, making >LE EPIC MEME REFERENCE and making an episode about Trump is truly well execution
SU was shit but atleast it wasn't just a kiddie South Park where the characters make crappy meta references and say Marvel-tier quips half the time
>Oh sure, making >LE EPIC MEME REFERENCE and making an episode about Trump is truly well execution
SU was shit but atleast it wasn't just a kiddie South Park where the characters make crappy meta references and say Marvel-tier quips half the time
Surely you watch Tawog in its 6 season run and actually notice most of the eps aren't focusing on meta references(even tho most of them were decent) and actually were emotional and deep like you gays like nowadays. And anon you do realize that AT, SU, and especially RS have meta references in their shows plus Marvel dialogue is more fitting to RS and AT because those shows unironically uses catchphrases more than Tawog lmao.
>Surely you watch Tawog in its 6 season run and actually notice most of the eps aren't focusing on meta references and actually were emotional and deep
Are you even trying at this point?
Also nice deflecting there
>My show isn't just a bunch of crappy meta references, yours is!
Gumball was always style over susbtance, it doesn't matter how much copium you shove down your lungs
And how can you even shit on other cartoons when yours has an entire episode dedicated to Gumball trying to get that rainbow kid to spank his ass
>Surely you watch Tawog in its 6 season run
I've watched the show since the first season aired (When it was still salvageable) and Gumball was always that "Ok" show that people watched when Adventure Time and Regular Show weren't on
>Are you even trying at this point?
Anon your argument on why Tawog is shit is because funny faces and meta humor you were not even trying at all at the start and that has been said to death already I think people know what show their getting into anon. Also nice deflecting there too
>Gumball was always style over susbtance, it doesn't matter how much copium you shove down your lungs
Lmao your an actual moron if you think this true that is so blatantly subjective anon substance could mean anything not just deep lore you loregay like Gumball getting his ass spank can be substance jesus christ.
> I've watched the show since the first season aired (When it was still salvageable) and Gumball was always that "Ok" show that people watched when Adventure Time and Regular Show weren't on
You really believe anything that people say to you anon, I am not even gonna argue you with that take because nobody even thinks that lmao
>Anon your argument on why Tawog is shit is because funny faces and meta humor
Aside from that, the show's just not funny and feels like a rehash of those crappy City-Noods era cartoons that flooded the channel back then
>substance could mean anything not just deep lore you loregay like Gumball getting his ass spank can be substance jesus christ.
I know that, but the show just lacks good substance
By the way i'm not a loregay, Adventure Time started going through the shitter when they turned it into a drama nothing-burger
>You really believe anything that people say to you anon
Don't believe me if you want, but Gumball was always the third wheel during the early 2010s and the fourth wheel by the time that SU came
Even its finale got half the viewers than the AT and SU finales, and they did badly
>Aside from that, the show's just not funny and feels like a rehash of those crappy City-Noods era cartoons that flooded the channel back then
Wtf is that comparison anon? Yeah your just saying baseless and random shit without just admitting you cant find excuses why Tawog is "shit" anymore. First you say its like south park then you say its somewhat similar to some irrelevant commercials that cn made pick an opinion anon.
>I know that, but the show just lacks good substance
Anon I think the substance of Tawog is good so your argument doesn't mean shit anymore does it"? who cares if its mostly funny faces and meta humor I enjoy some it and like I said there are times when they dont do that.
> By the way i'm not a loregay, Adventure Time started going through the shitter when they turned it into a drama nothing-burger
Well thats something we can agree upon I guess
>Don't believe me if you want, but Gumball was always the third wheel during the early 2010s and the fourth wheel by the time that SU came
Even its finale got half the viewers than the AT and SU finales, and they did badly
Not even true anymore sure in the early days Gumball was the third wheel but as time went on it was only AT and Tawog still standing, RS and SU are done and believe or not Tawog has more views than RS and SU combined only AT and ttg is beating Tawog in viewership. Just because the finale ep of Tawog didnt have more viewership than SU and AT does not make it the fourth wheel. Also when talking about the " big 3 of cn" its usually AT,RS, and Tawog, SU barely gets mention and if it does the people who said that will get shit on.
>Wtf is that comparison anon? Yeah your just saying baseless and random shit without just admitting you cant find excuses why Tawog is "shit" anymore. First you say its like south park then you say its somewhat similar to some irrelevant commercials that cn made pick an opinion anon.
When the frick did i talk about commercials? I was talking about those shitty cartoons made between 2005-2008, like Johnny Test and MGPAM
And the SP comparison mainly applies to the latter seasons, during the beginning it was just another "Wacky friends who are losers going to school and having shenanigans together" cartoon aside from the different artstyles
>Anon I think the substance of Tawog is good so your argument doesn't mean shit anymore does it"?
The fact that you like it changes nothing about how un-memorable and dull it was
>who cares if its mostly funny faces and meta humor I enjoy some it and like I said there are times when they dont do that.
Even when they don't do that they can't come up with any good jokes
>Not even true anymore sure in the early days Gumball was the third wheel but as time went on it was only AT and Tawog still standing, RS and SU are done and believe or not Tawog has more views than RS and SU combined only AT and ttg is beating Tawog in viewership.
This is just false, Gumball got a similar amount of viewers as SU during it's peak and Regular Show at it's peak dwarfed TAWOG's ratings
>Just because the finale ep of Tawog didnt have more viewership than SU and AT does not make it the fourth wheel.
Yes it does, the show was bleeding views by the end
>Also when talking about the " big 3 of cn" its usually AT,RS, and Tawog, SU barely gets mention and if it does the people who said that will get shit on.
Barely anybody talks about "The big three", except when talking about the early 2010s because it became the big four by the time SU came, and as i said before, TAWOG was the third wheel while AT and RS got most of the viewers
>When the frick did i talk about commercials? I was talking about those shitty cartoons made between 2005-2008, like Johnny Test and MGPAM
Anon TTG and RS have a more similar humor of shows like Johnny test and MGPAM than Tawog does again wtf is that comparison?
> And the SP comparison mainly applies to the latter seasons
So? doesn't mean its bad anon and again they don't always focus on the meta humor like you keep sperging out especially in the later seasons do the eps like the choices, the father, the shell, and the possession have any type of meta humor shit? Dont think so
>The fact that you like it changes nothing about how un-memorable and dull it was
And the fact that you think its "dull" doesn't change the fact that the show was innovative and pure fun its your opinion anon that you think its shit not a fact lol.
>Even when they don't do that they can't come up with any good jokes
Anon humor is subjective I don't like RS jokes because its just insert mom jokes and what not again an opinionated argument
>This is just false, Gumball got a similar amount of viewers as SU during it's peak and Regular Show at it's peak dwarfed TAWOG's ratings
That's just false su's peak was the first season and RS's peak was in the 4th season RS didn't recover from this ever since. And besides that how are you argue when TTG and Tawog covers all the timeslots in CN schedule tawog's ratings never dropped off bud your just being bias.
>Yes it does, the show was bleeding views by the end
Source? even if that is true Gumball on streaming services surpasses viewership compare to other cartoons since nobody cares about television nowadays even if it "ended"
>Barely anybody talks about "The big three", except when talking about the early 2010s , TAWOG was the third wheel while AT and RS got most of the viewers.
Like I said TTG and Tawog took the timeslots of those shows so your argument isn't really saying that much. Also nobody likes SU as much of those three shows so no
>third wheel
>TAWOG is British
What the frick? This is like finding out The Killers are an American band and not from England. Why is the setting so thoroughly American?
I guess its because the backgrounds of that show actually have a real life counterpart most of these are from San Francisco Gumball's house

Not really. I grew up with 2k cartoons and the majority of them are straight up worse. Also extremely derivative and always copying from older cartoons and anime. That's what I think as an adult. As a child of coursed I liked all of them.
>Also extremely derivative and always copying from older cartoons and anime.
Everyone always copies someone in some form. That's called inspiration.
>I grew up with 2k cartoons and the majority of them are straight up worse.
That may be you, but most people think otherwise.
>Everyone always copies someone in some form. That's called inspiration.
Maybe but repeating the exact same empty tropes again and again without bringing something new and interesting on the table gets really boring after a while. Early 2000 CN compared to the new one is the best example of it.
>That may be you, but most people think otherwise.
Then why is television getting less and less attention? Why are there thousands of people complaining about modern cartoons on the internet? Anyways in the end if you like them continue liking them I won't try to change your opinion.
>That may be you, but most people think otherwise.
That's why none of these 2k cartoons were successful enough to spawn major franchises and why most companies are still mining 80s and early 90s shit for ideas 20+ years after the 80's nostalgia boom should have subsided.
>most companies are still mining 80s and early 90s shit for ideas
Such as? Also, that's executives being out of touch coupled with nostalgia. Give it 10-20 more years and you'll start to see 2000s stuff being made
>out of touch
They mine what will make them money. What from the 2000s will get mined for nostalgia? Spongebob... and? Shrek?
>Spongebob... and? Shrek?
Spongebob never stopped. Shrek 5 will get out in the next couple of years.
Exactly. The stuff that was successful in the 00s is still going. There's no nostalgia to mine from that period. The 00s are defined by corporations keeping things safe and taking less risks. That's why nothing successful ever goes away anymore and if a new idea isn't immediately a huge success it gets quickly cancelled and swept under the rug forever.
Brazil always loved western animation more than the US ever did.
Is mostly because of the godtier dubs in that region
They the reason why some people mock Spain's Spanish in dubs
>They the reason why some people mock Spain's Spanish in dubs
European Spanish dubs are pretty good, at least the 90s and 2000s ones. No idea of 2010s dubs.
>They the reason why some people mock Spain's Spanish in dubs
Hispanic hands wrote this post, because only they throw shit at European Spanish like that.
No, it's because most of your voice dubs are soulless and most of your VAs are wage drone literal whos who can't comprehend the concept of passion and vigor. Their pathetic DB screams are just a symptom.
the answer is simple, don't date ghetto dwellers and just shoot one of the brothers dead and the others will leave you alone in fear since latino men in ghettos only understand the language of violence and dominating everything beneath you
>el hermano de jorel
>cuentos espantosos para niños caprichosos
What about these?
>Irmão do Jorel
I think he means around the 90's-2000's. The closest you'd get would be monica's gang in terms of Brazilian cartoons. We have more options now in terms of brazilian stuff due to laws forcing cable channels to have a certain percentage of shows be nationally produced and PCs becoming more affordable alongside stuff like flash becoming more mainstream.
Irmão do Jorel and Historietas only happened through government-assisted funding, in order to compete with out neighbors that have an already established domestic animation market.
The thing is, during the 90's and early 2000's we had a cable channel around called TV Manchete and these guys were the syndicated version of nippophile heaven, they would broadcast dubbed Kamen Rider Black and Black RX, Cybercops, Juspion, Saint Seiya, Yu Yu-Hakusho, you name it, all of that in their children's programming.
Couple that with the fact that Brazil is probably the country outside of asia most culturally close to Japan in the world, with the biggest population of japanese people outside of Japan, and you have an intense weeb community lasting to this day, name any anime and a brazilian probably has watched it twice over.
Have you ever heard the TF2 Spanish dub
Shit's fricked
If valve used latin American dubs actors it would been iconic
>because only they throw shit at European Spanish like that.
There is literally not 1 (ONE) good reason to learn European Spanish if you're from the Americas. Seeing Sp*niards trying to "correct" Latinos is as embarrassing as the British "correcting" Americans.
Literally truthnuke unironically
>Spanish speaking Americans fail their Spanish class because they're being taught European Spanish
Nobody here has ever or will ever use "vosotros." Thankfully, my Spanish teachers knew that.
He speaks the Truth. Even in the 1960s all the best Spanish dubs were coming from Mexico and Spain produced nothing
>t. Argentina
Do latinas in south america like cartoons? If I try to impress one with my Cinemaphile knowledge will I get to squeeze her big butt? When her 57 brothers come out of the woodwork to skin me for being white will my vast Cinemaphile knowledge allow me to fend them off?
These are far more important questions.
Why don't you just date white girls?
The Disney XD cartoons have a cult following in south america
Does anyone still remember Jetix?
I do
Can't speak for the Spanish-speaking countries, but in Brazil there was 0 Brazillian-made children's content on national TV, so the channels just aired animes and cartoons instead.
The people who grew up on that era are adults now, so anime / cartoons became their hobby.
Cartoons aren't even popular in the US, what makes you think Latinos like them?
I will tell you the answer you seek but in the form of a tale.
José is an adult man. He watches cartoons such as Amphibia and Adventure Time because they remind him of a cartoon he used to watch when he was a kid: KND. José remembers how he used to watch KND after a long school day and how his mom would make some choccy milk. In those days of youth, José dreamed of becoming a plane engineer, inspired by Numbuh Two, and he would stay very late, absorbed by plane designs and his own drawings.
Nowadays, José is a b***hess 30 year old man. He is part of the "ni-ni" generation. They don't work nor study. They are aimless, shamblers of these decadent countries, men and women whose dreams and hopes have been long broken and now they are mere husks, content with short-lived part-time jobs and the ocassional frick here and there but nothing too serious.
Alas poor José, doomed to forever watch western cartoons in an attempt to rekindle the flame that lighted his childhood. He is no more different than, say, Lucas who still follows Dragon Ball, no matter how many times Toriyama, pardon the expression, defecates on the bed. And they are no more different than their fathers, who still listen to old fashioned folk music as means of travelling back in time to happier, more merrier times.
Such is the cry of the Latinos, dear Anons. Laugh along their stupid jokes and bizarre facebook memes. The poor bastards deserve, at the very least, a laugh.
LAUGH ALONG, LAAAAAAAUGH
What are you referencing? Looks like Billy & Mandy
That anon is referencing the Raven scene from Billy and Mandy
>Nowadays, José is a b***hess 30 year old man. He is part of the "ni-ni" generation. They don't work nor study. They are aimless, shamblers of these decadent countries, men and women whose dreams and hopes have been long broken and now they are mere husks, content with short-lived part-time jobs and the ocassional frick here and there but nothing too serious.
ah yes, the buenos aires beta marginal
>buenos aires
Kys porteño cuck
Because everyone likes cartoons it's not just an american thing what's this stupid question?
>everyone likes cartoons
When they are children of course.
>What is Tom and Jerry's decades long fanbase
Tom and Jerry is the exception not the rule
Deserved btw their shorts are straint up timeless
I doubt everyone likes cartoons as an adult. They are nowhere near as popular as video games or live action.
Anime is popular. But yeah, cartoons are not popular with most adults, unless they have a learning disorder of some kind. Cartoons are generally poorly made and you have to have really low standards in order to enjoy them.
What else would you do in a Latino country? These guys have nothing. They're known for nothing. No history, no cultural works, no constructions, no people, nothing that the rest of the world cares about. Of course they're going to latch onto something actually relevant and good enough to export as soon as they find it.
Argenshitna will never be white, cope
>CAPTCHA: GAYTDG
Argentina applies here. Nobody knows anything about Argentina except that they lost a war against the British and some Nazis maybe fled there.
Argentina is white.
Mortal Kombat was made by 2 dominican americans
Latingay here, let me tell you how it was growing up around here.
You got two, three tv channels top and their programming was fill with the most insipid crap known to man.
Then came cable or "Perubolica" how we affectionate called it, and it changed everything: not only it brought A LOT of foreign cartoons but specially ANIME (70's-90's anime mind you, the good shit) and since it was animated our idioitic parents thought it was perfectly fine for us to watch it unsupervised. It was glorious.
TLDR; cartoons were the finest form of escapism from the shitty reality of these hellholes for many of us at kids and way into adulthood as well. My two cents.
TV in Latin America is a thousand times better than TV in the US.
It was awesome owning a satellite dish in the 90s and being able to get foreign tv stations and getting to see all the awesome shit they aired. Lots of titty, too.
They don't care as much as they used to, the last time I'd call a cartoon being truly popular in LA was with Adventure time and Regular Show, you can still see a lot of memes from the latter one in fact, most kids nowadays don't watch TV as much
When I was very young I didn't know if cartoons came from America or Japan, but when I grew older I was able to tell simply by the fact that all the shows that were ugly or bad seemed to come from America.
Who fricking cares? Make a new Hispachan and stop ruining this place.
They want to talk about fricking cartoons instead of obsessed about trivial drama, boring stale degen coomhomosexualry and repetativr politics.
USAgays have derailed what this board has been about for years and should frick off.
Have you even seen Spider-Man threads? Or any threads that primarily feature them? Lot's of spamming, schizo headcanon shit presented as fact, a weird obsession with sex and cuckoldry, lots and lots of unfunny jokes and memes (usually centered around sex and cuckoldry), and all kinds of other annoying behavior.
That's Americans for you.
Haha
magical realism tradition
Colombia?
Does it exist in other LA countries?
Their race is the most recent, so their cultural values are more modern.
you don't make any sense
How so?
latino isn't a race for starters
In reference to “they”, I meant Mestizos, who are the majority race of Latin America.
majority race is still Caucasian?? are you dumb?
You are not white, and Caucasian is a broad term.
>this thread
ok. while buying groceries, a bunch of normie adults were talking about cartoons like billy and mandy, courage, etc. when I finished, they were laughing their asses off at the fact that one of their kids was watching fricking Naruto. lmao
the truth is that cartoons are loved by everyone.
Thankfully we are leaving the era of being ashamed of liking cartoons. It was established in the 1970s and its taken up until now to recover as much as it has.
My man adults talk with nostalgia about them but no way in hell would they actually sit down and rewatch them. Animation fans are actually in minority compared to other mediums.
Courage the Cowardly Dog is just timeless. Perfect mix of comedy and horror.
shit thread that will devolve into latinx fighting over whos whiter
Whiteness doesn’t matter, but Argentina is literally white.
Because they actually care unlike the gays in California.
California is basically Mexico though
So is Texas. Even more so.
Mexico if it were white.
You know, maybe organized crime and corruption isn't as bad as cultural Marxism.
Es que somos muchos, it's not that weird and the internet and cable and such. pjnta
Most public television stations in Latin America broadcasted cartoon series from CN, Nick and Disney .
now I'm sad because there are no cartoons on TV anymore
that is a odd question, everybody loves cartoons.
Our IQs are really low
Over socialized, under educated has just enabled dumb people, but things find their way.
.
Don't you start with your "mimimimi".
Because our television keeps repeating the same cartoons every time. If Johnny Test was shown on almost every channel more than 20 years ago it would have had a huge fanbase among you guys too.
To be fair, you have to have averyhigh IQ to understand Johnny Test. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Johnny's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volyaliterature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to trulyappreciatethe depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Johnny Test truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Johnny's existencial catchphrase "*Whip crack*," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epicFathers and SonsI'm smirking right now justimaginingone of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how Ipitythem. And yes by the way, I DO have a Johnny Test tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
Why are gringos so homosexuals?
We learned from our neighbors down south.

We are constantly exposed to media from other countries, specially since we barely produce any animated content of our own, so anything that other countries make is readily absorved by us.
I like many gringo cartoons, but i wish... i wish making cartoons wasn't so difficult for us. Here in Brazil it's a struggle to make one, which is a pity; there are so many great stories from around here that could be animated, and there's so many creative people here... we just lack the funds and structure for it, i guess.
In a quick answer, and with some introspection, it is a quite attractive creative medium almost in pair with comics (and manga), not for nothing I think it's the medium with the greatest lineup of creation; The difference is the little or lack of development in these places for a variety of reasons (economic, industrial, etc.) that affect opportunities and talents. LatAm loves animation. western or eastern. Sad they rarely produce it themselves and what they do is usually mediocre.

Everybody loves cartoons, jackass.
