Why Ye with a gun?
>you can just try Rippaverse comics.
Because it still doesn't solve the industry problem of boring and bad writing
But it solves the problem of showing what happens when you DISRESPECT people, fools.
But seriously, no-one read this piece of shit before the campaign was done and told him to do a proper rewrite? This is the biggest issue with these artist-larping "counter-culture" morons. They're all lazy and intellectually dishonest midwits.
Mostly the racism. Because race politics I'm not interested in black characters, anon.
You need more than one comic to be able to use the plural of that word.
What if I don’t care about any culture war shit, pro-woke or anti-woke, is there anything about this comic that would interest me?
>is there anything about this comic that would interest me?
I don't know, have you ever seen anyone, anywhere, ever talk about it without immediately talking about "wokeness" and how by default this is good due to a lack of it? When it started being shipped out, the majority of the praise came from it being packaged competently. That should tell you enough.
anti woke = normal
Nope. Eric literally made the most generic comic I've ever read in my life. I'm glad its on pirate sites because I'd be PISSED if I paid actual money for this.
Why the frick are you reading some dumbass scam shit, of which you're gonna get what, one issue every year or two, just because you're terrified of how much you'd enjoy getting your bussy turned out by a shemale that wouldn't even look at you twice?
Fricking rube
>comics
ComicS implies there's more than one to read.
Well, whats good about it? Sell me on it. Not being woke tells me nothing about the what the comic *is*, just what it isn't.
Avery Silman is thrust back into a world he left behind, after hanging up his suit many years ago, seemingly for good. Now he must decide if taking up the mantle of Isom once again is his best course of action . . .In Isom #1, Avery’s sister Altona contacts him to investigate the disappearance of a young woman, who was last seen in the company of former friend Darren Fontaino. But Darren has changed since he and Avery hung out back in their youth. Instead of the friend he knew, Darren has become a cold-blooded shot-caller, and one of the most feared men in the city. Little did he know that his visit with Darren would result in one of the longest days of Avery’s life!Around these parts, special beings are known as “Excepts.” Unfortunately for Avery, he has the misfortune of encountering some of them. Alphacore and Yaira each added their own complications to Avery’s longest day, while the living tank known as Santwan has reappeared to provide even more hardship to his life. What are the consequences of Avery’s choices in Part 1? Who, if anyone, will come to his aid? Grab Isom #2: Ill-Advised Part 2 today, and find out for yourself!Let’s be great.

copy and pasting a synopsis doesn’t make me wanna read it. just makes me think you’re a moronic shill, which you are, because this comic is dog shit and has no substance or character or world building
…wait that’s the official synopsis? Like from the website? Did he have a ten year old child write it?
This is the kind of racism that the comic book industry is trying to fight. You need to learn to appreciate black grammar.
yes it actually is
god even the synopsis is unreadable
It felt weirdly wordy for some reason, and I get the sense that these concept lived in his head too long but he didn't bother to bring the readers along. We don't have the same investment about his dilemma because we had no idea what isom was. None if the happening sound particularly interesting, just annoying and interspersed with indecipherable jargon.
>This comic book will give your kid cancer
The moron should've let ChatGPT write the synopsis, it's insane that the guy is this bad with words and now he''s going to be a writer full time?
>and now he''s going to be a writer full time?
Good news. He only works on the comic on Sundays. The rest of the week is dedicated to making youtube videos about how woke Marvel is being.
>He only works on the comic on Sundays
Is this actually true? Because that kind of scheduling won't "put the industry on notice".
That's a woke response.
It's not literally true, but it did take him a whole year to put out a second issue.
What’s the story so far? Is it entertaining?
In 2017, I fricked Eric July on the train tracks behind the CSCD in Denton. Man, his ass could grip. Real tight, super bushy (have you seen his shoulders??), and a sphincter you could only dream of. I had fun at first. But he was so weirdly macho about it. He kept saying things like "thats right b***h, am I gonna make you nut?" and "fricking gay I bet you can't wait to bust in my fat hairy man ass hahaha homosexual". I just ignored him and kept railing. He continued unironically calling me his b***h and a gay as he had several hands free prostate orgasms spilling seminal fluids onto the train tracks, getting more angry and dominant after each one. "Yea i bet you like dudes. You look like a pussy" he'd say "I cant even feel your limpdick b***h." I just kept clapping, wondering wtf is up with him. After about 20 minutes of railing Eric's boypussy, drenched in sweat and his cream, I finally got a nut off despite his constant berating and degrading comments. He immediately hopped off, laid flat on his back and bent his legs over his head so the cum dripped out of his butthole directly into his mouth. "The frick you looking at? You like this gay boy?" He kept saying. After he got every last drop. He cackled like a rooster and punched me in the face as hard as he could. He nearly broke his hand, but I was fine. "Fricking gay" he said as he limped off into the sunset, shaking his wrist. That was the first and last time I fricked Eric July on the train tracks behind the CSCD in Denton.
Thanks Satan
Blacks are woke
The mere existence of black people in media is a threat to the alt right who is hell-bent on it's "white genocide" lunacy
Is the alt right in the room with you?
I don't read books made by Black folk
>Self-promo on Cinemaphile
Not reading your sovless "culture war" shit. Dude needs his fans to harass anyone who gives it a negative review. Most Youtubers shilling shit shit didn't even read it.
?t=73
Today I will remind them
I can't wait for the Gary written comic book title.
It would only be interesting if he started redoing drugs.
The marvel and DC products in the background will always be funny
One day it will be a Rippaverse wall.
One day in 2090 when Eric July III publishes the historical 20th issue of Isom.
Hey you know that really skilled Green Lantern and Flash guy with the frog comic? Yeah the one who got dumped by DC because of his Trumpie YouTube channel? Well turns out he's friends with this blacktrepreneur who calls his YouTube channel an "empire". And this guy ALSO has shit for you to buy.
>Hey you know that really skilled Green Lantern and Flash guy with the frog comic?
I know of no such creator.
I know of Ethan Van Sciver, the flash-in-the-pan artist from a few decades ago who had an ornate and overly detailed, weird, spindly style.
I know that he's never done a memorable comic that wasn't written by Grant Morrison or Geoff Johns.
I know he's a pathological liar with a sociopathic personality.
I know he also has a griftTuBe channel where he bilks marks out of money in exchange for taking three years to put out a comic.
I know he's insanely jealous of NPC Eric July having like quadrupled up on CryberFraud's success.
I dunno sounds like made up fan fiction in your head
>try Rippaverse comics
>try
>no previews
uhhhhhhhh
Shut up, just buy it.
Someone has the archive though, I'm sure, don't drop money on this drek.
>black people
>libertarians
This tailor made to be for nobody.
Look, even if the comic is fricking amazing (which it isn't) there's not enough of it for me who likes to read. Came out last year, read it, and then I need to read more. Rippaverse can't fix that problem of mine until he makes more books which will take more years.
My favorite parts were the epic spreads of some guy in street clothes in a fighting stance weightlessly floating towards some other guy in street clothes in a fighting stance. That and the complete and utter lack of inking, one of the maybe 2 most important components of comic art.
i'll only be interested in this if its about short fat ugly virgin asian man who suddenly found a cute high-school girl with an F-cup suddenly becoming interesting in them, and they have super powers somehow.
Sure OP can I borrow your issue?
Yeah, no. Vote with you're dollars if you actually want the industry to change.
Done and done, I just buy from other indie comic creators instead because their prices aren't a Rippa off.
If your not willing to actually support the movement you have no right to complain than
storytime it so I can buy it if I like it
If your not willing to buy a single issue of a comic book idk what to tell you. I dont even read comics and bought one.
i'm a try it before I buy it kinda person, I come here for storytimes mainly
>I dont even read comics and bought one.
LMAO we know that's why we hate you guys. You don't even read comics. You just like bottom of the barrel youtubers. There's a endless amount of small artists who make incredible comics who actually have the potential to gain traction outside of the mainstream. Your autistic youtube gang will never mention any of them to their giant audience that's desperate for something new
>I dont even read comics and bought one.
well its more youtube merch than an actual comic tbh
I mean no, I’m really not willing to drop $35+tip on an unproven writer who’s unwilling to offer a preview outside of this
very poorly written synopsis.
here's the first page, doesn't this make you want to buy it at the price of like 5 books and real all 80-some pages? (its not 90)
ok here's the second page, take a look at this and tell me it's not the greatest comic you ever saw
personally, my favorite page of isom#1
If the creator isn't willing to preview even five pages of his first issue as a show of good faith and to say "This is a taste of what you can expect" the he's not worth supporting.
Fricking THIS. The fact that Eric showed no transparency throughout the entire crowdfunding campaign (to the point where he refused to call it a crowdfunder... until he wanted even more money) should have rung alarm bells in even the most slow-witted person. The fact that he did it all on his own website, instead of just letting Kickstarter or indiegogo do all the boring admin work, should have been the biggest indicator that this was going to be an embarrassment.
Yes Eric, it sucks that those sites charge admin fees, but 1) they're not a charity and 2) they take care of the awkward shit, like moving huge sums of money around without Paypal wondering what the hell is going on. All you did was release the piss filter over a stock photo, then b***hed for 10 minutes in some break room, and you were SURPRISED when people assumed the book didn't even exist?
I remember the shills saying that Eric's website had the potential to become a serious competitor to kickstarter and indiegogo... of course, that was before the numerous delays that came as a result of Eric not knowing what the frick he was doing.
I know a few people who've run successful KS campaigns, and Eric did pretty much everything you're not meant to do; he didn't plan ahead for potential delays, whenever he announced a delay it was always "shit's delayed, deal w/ it" and he ALWAYS got pissy online with anyone asking for more details. And yes, you're allowed to be frustrated with delays to your project, and it sucks that people don't always understand that, but you don't vent your frustrations on your customers.
Of course, casualgate shills are the beaten spouses of the comic book world, so they'll always come back to the butthole who blames everyone else for his mistakes.
nothing wrong with blaming others for all your own shortcomings, just become a grifter and blame capitalism
He's a libertarian, so he'd blame the state rather than capitalism.
Why not play both sides?
>nothing wrong with blaming others for all your own shortcomings, just become a grifter and blame the woke
ftfy
>t. blind homosexual that thinks they/them is right
Shakespeare used the singular they
So do I, but I use it as a slur.
Yes dear, we know you're a fricking stupid c**t.
Sorry, I don't participate in faux decency.
First a competitor to Kickstarter, now a parallel economy. All with one comic book a year and a niche fandom.
What's next, they'll create their own island nation that'll compete with the US?
>support the movement
Your movement is about politics with comics used as a vehicle to promote those politics. Instead of supporting that, I'll go and buy some good comics.
>inb4 every comic besides Rippaverse comics is woke and therefore can't be good
Lol, lmao even.
Every comic besides Rippa, my buddy Ethan, Zack, and the other obese people on his livestreams is nothing but LESBIAN MEXICAN WHEELCHAIR SHIT.
I'd love it if the Critical Drinker was forced to review this, seeing him try to fight back the desperation of calling it utter shit, while trying to suck enough wiener to survive.
Serious question, has the Critical Drinker ever talked about something other than movies and tv shows?
He should, i mean he's published (self published?) his own books, so it'd make sense to review novels.
For once, Carlos, you live.
$35 can buy
>Young Rippa comic
>An entire junk box at a comic shop
>The 2,000 page Death Note omnibus new + another comic or two
>5-10 of anything else brand new at a shop
It lacks atmosphere.
Rippaverse is woke you idiot
define woke
He should really sell it with some copies of Marvel books seeing as how it's only "good" in comparison.
Because it's funny.
Waiting for the Werewolf Jones & Sons Deluxe Summer Fun Annual.
Isom is a woke comic that pretends it's not.
>fight the woke
>or else he will false flag your twitter acct
>Man I'm tired of the woke libtards using disabled people as marketing pawn
>Hey did you know a deaf guy colored my book?
>eric threatens to kill critics
>call eric the n word
>his audience reports you for racism
the absolute most humorless, most thin skinned, and most feminine black man I ever heard of
>Putting the industry on notice
>Soon we'll be moonwalking on the dead careers of mainstream comic pros
you might not like it but even the MCU movies are bombing, the industry will implode
Yeah, but that's because the public are finally getting superhero fatigue, not because of some mid af graphic novel made by an Uncle Tom grifter where nothing happens
there's no such thing as superhero fatigue, superheroes were fine for almost a century
https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/james-gunn-dc-marvel-superhero-fatigue-b2313682.html
>journo cope
many such cases
they also weren't invasive dogshit for almost a century
They absolutely fricking were.
are you being unironic when you call someone an Uncle Tom?
he's as moronic as the rippaverse people. Mans in all these threads
>black guy trying to prove to chuds that he's "one of the good ones"
>not an Uncle Tom
Slavery ended ages ago, and everyone can tell they you're a homosexual. You'll never be a cool rebel.
>everyone can tell they you're a homosexual. You'll never be a cool rebel.
I don't call people call others Uncle Tom because I disagree with them, and if you understood politics you wouldn't either.
>I don't call people call others
You wanna try that again in English?
yeah, I don't call others Uncle Tom because they don't fit my ethnic fantasy
I'm sorry me using a term correctly triggered you
You're just delusional and think you're some hero fighting slavery. The truth is that you're just insane and probably a loser.
He can't keep getting away with it.
From what I saw Isom 1 was the literal definition of mid. Good for him for making it I guess but I'm not getting invested, especially not for thirty bucks a piece.
the greatest action in a comic book ever
look how unwoke it is
They bump kneecaps and it makes them scoot backwards?
>Why are you reading woke shit when you could be reading woke shit?
Gee OP idk
I don't read capeshit so I don't really have to put up with the nonsense you big 2 morons do.
It's not a scam of 'woke.' It's just shit and sold on tricking thousands of youtube viewers into thinking that alternatives to Marvel don't exist. This essentially makes Eric and his autistic friends assistants to Marvel. They should be getting paid by them.
You talk like someone who's either from reddit or (Allah forgive me) facebook.
I've been here since 2006, get a better cover for being a pitiful hater with NO substance to your complaints.
>name gayging since 2006 and still a nobody
lol, lmao even
Why are you still not banned? Buying a fricking ad, you imbecil. No one won't read your shitty comic and you spamming doesn't help the situation.
Projection
I would enjoy reading good venom and moon knight stories. I wouldn't enjoy picking one up and seeing a lecture about toxic masculinity or some other stupid shit, I learned about that from Deadpool.
Why would anyone get banned for saving comics?
Because I'll rather spend cash on Venom or Moon Knight, than try something that feels like 90s Image 2.0.
I already bit the bullet with Kamen America, not falling for it twice.
It does give 90s image vibes, but not good vibes like the maxx or spawn. It feels like one of those knock off x force comics.
>THIS ISN'T WOKE
Then why are there Black folk all over the cover?
You're so fricking spineless, Cinemaphile. Stand up for something for once.
Paying $35 for a comic book made by Uncle Tom isn't standing up for shit
>uncle tom
Frick off
If they really want to try and grow the brand they need to release it digitally already. I'm not dropping 35+ an issue. I read #1 and didn't feel it would have been worth the cash so even if they're idea sounds cool I'm not going to support something just for the sake of supporting it because hypothetically it could be good one day. The product, as it is now, is not worth the price of entry. There have been webcomics and fan fictions with more compelling starts that are free.
>because hypothetically it could be good one day.
That's not why you're supposed to be supporting it though.
Because while it’s not woke, it still has everything else that makes Marvel and DC (and American comics in general) awful.
>Yet another fricking cookie cutter capeshit series in an environment already swamped with capeshit.
>35 dollar asking price for one floppy.
>Ads in the middle of the fricking thing.
Reminder that guy loves AI art because he hates the thought of talented people getting paid for making good art
I'll rather pay A.I instead of some fat israeli hack. Yes.
But you shills don't mind shilling $50 for shit made by a fat Uncle Tom hack
>Uncle Tom
>Hack
Baseless accusations, explain yourself or GTFOH . Yes I'll pay and shill for a talented artist. Problem?.
5 millions and I wish him great success.
>I'll pay and shill for a talented artist
So why didn't you do that instead of giving money to Rippa?
So you have no argument for your shit baseless accusations and now you're deflecting.
Very well. Keep seething. 5 millions and going up. I'll leave him a tweet wishing for good luck in his future endeavours, while you keep crying over a honest man life work and passion.
different guy, you homosexual. If you want an "argument", though? Have you not found it weird that Le Based Rippa is making much more than the actual PROFESSIONAL comic artists and writers just by being some D-list YouTuber putting out an inferior book? And that the only source of his millions of dollars is... him?
Why is he the only Based Book creator who funded his comic in a way where there's 0 third party confirmation? Most of Casualgate content is shit, but god love them, Indiegogo is nevertheless a legitimate platform that shows when they actually succeed. Why did Rippa make a point NOT to use them?
>Have you not found it weird that Le Based Rippa is making much more than the actual PROFESSIONAL comic artists and writers just by being some D-list YouTuber putting out an inferior book? And that the only source of his millions of dollars is... him?
Nothing inferior about his product. He has a good following and popular platform presence. you're Just schizo
>Why is he the only Based Book creator who funded his comic in a way where there's 0 third party confirmation?
Less hassle, Based indeed.
>Indiegogo is nevertheless a legitimate platform
Says you.
Oh frick you're trolling. Frick you got me, 10/10 I was bamboozled.
>5 millions and going up.
Nah.
There isn't enough content from rippaverse. What exists wouldn't occupy more than a luchbreak.
Rippaverse can't replace shit unless July cranks up the output and releases way more than one book a year.
I miss Incredible Hercules
The cap and t-shirt might be worth it, they work as repellant on Cinemaphile posters.
Look I don’t care about the politics. I don’t care about the money involved. I don’t even care about Eric July.
What bothers me is that the book FRICKING SUCKS.
Actually I take that back. It doesn’t even suck enough to make fun of. It’s just a bland, boring comic. It reads like someone wrote a comic after watching one superhero movie and thought “hey I could do that.”
July can make all the money he wants, but the industry isn’t going to change if all he can do is shit out one mediocre comic per year.
>people still falling for paid shills astroturfing a money laundering scheme
this is why the rest of the site makes fun of us
tome 12 when
Like almost every year, Pat Mills' wife posted on the facebook page that it is absolutely positively definitely coming this year. Apparently Ledroit started working on it in September 2022
>Greetings, Fang-Fans!
>Another year has passed and many of you are wondering what has happened to the sixth and final volume of your favourite vampire epic?
>Well, rest assured that Requiem Vampire Knight Vol.6 has not been abandoned but massively delayed.
>The good news is that legendary comic writer/creator Pat Mills, has confirmed that superstar artist Olivier Ledroit started on Tome 12, the second half of this volume, in September 2022. Now, it usually takes him a year to complete a book. In addition, Pat has informed me that a further final tome has been added – Tome 13 – so we will have to wait until this is completed and release it in Vol.6 to complete the series.
>Thanks for your patience. For the undead time has no true meaning.
this time for sure
Ledroit does have sketches on his facebook so maybe some more promise this time.
Why do you keep shilling your dogshit comic on a site full of NEETs with no money?
because funny
Remember when Eric said that Isom outsold manga?
he legit outsold most manga
Only if you don’t count digital and only count sales from certain stores. And of course if you ignore the fact that ISOM’s numbers are inflated by people buying multiples (which are still sales… but it doesn’t mean more fans).
Why are you agreeing that the numbers are legit in the first place?
Bottom of the barrel mangas sell 100k copies per volume
>outsold manga
I still don't understand what he meant by this.
Outsold all manga ever made in the last 70 years?
Outsold a single chapter of a popular manga?
Outsold a single volume of an obscure manga?
Careful now. Those are pretty transgender questions, bro.
obsessed
He outsold manga what else is there to say?
Ok you mean all of Japanese comics. One Piece alone has sold millions of volumes while Isom #1 sold 40-50K. The whole Rippaverse hasn't outsold one manga title, never mind all of manga.
it has outsold many failed mangas
Remember when Eric slapped a yellow filter over some warehouse stock photos?
What's wrong with that?
>What's wrong with photoshopping evidence of your nonexistent warehouse to try and shut up your detractors.
Nothing, unless you want your credibility to remain intact I guess. It certainly doesn't help with that. You can't trust a word this man says.
So? The product was mailed and people got what they paid for. You're just mad it exists.
Holy shit. Has Dick seen this?
This is ancient news.
This is old news, Eric's shills are wilfully ignorant and dishonest people.
I don't care how old it is. It could be Dick show gold
Who?
He means Dick Masterson, a streamer notorious for not giving Isom a glowing 9/10 review.
see
Podcaster Comedian who recently read Isom after being bugged by youtube grifters to read it. He wrote some notes on it and Eric July has been freaking out ever since doing whole streams raging about it. So now Eric Julys become a giant punching bag.
>comedian
Dick Masterson employs unironic pedos and his producer is a troon
How many israeliteelry ads will issue 2 have?
Honestly after issue one Eric has proven he has no right to be writing comics and should stick to the lamest sort of music ever.
Isom is a list of things he's seen more competent writers do but doesn't understand why they do it, his villain is the villain because he might be doing something evil, he meets up with another hero and she just drops him why? He retired from being a hero but instead of it being some sort of dark thing from his past it's because he just didn't care for being a super hero, okay so the moment he gets bored of looking for this girl he's going to given up on it and work on a farm.
Why the frick a farm anyway is Eric like all morons who thinks working on a ranch is more honest wore and not back breaking labor, again something I'm sure he'd give up on at the first moment he got tired of it.
The worst thing about Isom however has to bo Eric ego however, see I could buy wanting to do better than DC or Marvel but the funny thing is something like that awful America comic is better yes it has terrible dialogue, bad art and all around is stupid but at least I get the feeling the author tried there, here it's just Eric writing what he thinks comics should be but in the blandest way possible.
He's like Stan Lee in a fashion being a hype man but the thing is that Lee had ideas that people liked, Eric is Lee with our the talent, he's just a conman with no original ideas, just a cult who hate money.
Best take so far.
It really is this amateur work, where he's knowledgeable enough of the beats to hit in a classic superhero story, but forgets why they should exist or for what purpose.
I remember writing terrible short stories as a kid that mimicked superhero cartoons that I watched, and it'd all just kinda become this slop of moments that have no justification of happening besides that I wanted them to happen.
Thanks, though I should have spell checked it first.
Mind you I need to go on about the villain who's just not evil, we don't see him or his cronies do anything other than beat up a man who keeps harassing them, If this was Kingpin we'd see him ice someone or get someone else to kill someone,
And don't get me started about his whiney b***hing about the Legacy heroes or the Multiverse, Yes we've had some bad ones, but the truth is that he say that this universe have limits from the start, There can be no story of new hero starting up, from the scratch wanting to honor the legacy of someone and ultimately choosing to be both a mixture of that hero and themselves.
Or a Multiverse story where Isom goes to a dimension where he stuck with being a hero, and the world is a better place because of it, no moments of vulnerability where he questions "Did I make the right choice," or moments of realization where he accepts his decision to quit and tries to make the world better.
I think the thing that makes me Hate July more than any other hack is that he gives off this stench of arrogance, this feeling of "Old comics Good" but doesn't understand why they were good.
>rippaverse
I will now write better comics than the big two by... writing MORE capesludge garbage?
Does this fricking idiot not know that superhero comics were simply the last kind of comic POSSIBLE to market to kids after the Comics Code Authority and the moral panic that happened after Seductions of the Innocent?
There are INFINITELY better genres in comic book fiction, and Japan has ALREADY blown this 'style' of fiction out of the water with My Hero Acedemia.
Waste of fricking time. Someone should get this idiot some Franco-Belgian, or at least some god damned Judge Dredd.
Really sad that he thinks he needs to bring comics back to the OLD shitty writing instead of maybe thinking of telling good stories.
It’s also hilarious that he refuses to acknowledge that non-Big 2 comics ALREADY EXIST.
He’s not adding anything that you can’t already find. It’s not like there aren’t non-woke comics out there from other companies. He’s just yet another indie comic… and a shitty one at that.
just like Sega's marketing refused to acknowledge that other vidya consoles existed until Sony made the Playstation
When did that happen?
Sega had an ad that claimed "Sega does what Nintendon't".
The OG Rippa grift
>just like Sega's marketing refused to acknowledge that other vidya consoles existed until Sony made the Playstation
...Are you for real? Did you forget this?
yeah, they're marketing their own shit and pretending that Turbografx isn't a thing
>he refuses to acknowledge that non-Big 2 comics ALREADY EXIST.
If he did he'd be undercutting his sales. His backers are mostly ignorant of comics and only buying Isom to support Rippa. If they think he's the only alternative then they will buy only his stuff.
But I think a lot if them are now stuck with a sunk cost mindset. Even if you told them there's other publishers like Image, Dark Horse and Aftershock they'd just call them woke and not bother checking out other comics.
why do people expect others to do the marketing for their favorite shitty comics that no one has heard of?
>Eric says he's tired of woke comics by the Big Two
>Instead of helping good nonwoke comics get a boost in sales he goes out of his way to never mention them
Yes he has no obligation to other creators, but the fact he only advertises his own stuff ahows he doesn't care about comics, just making a buck off his followers. Even that isn't a problem if he would be honest about it.
>being honest
>2023
Hey I remember you from the last shit Isom thread. His autistic gang are expected to become they say every day that they want to 'take on marvel' and all this shit about parallel economies when they're the ones suppressing that.
what can I say? it's a doggy dog world
>Aftershock
Who's gonna tell him?
>the CCA killed the furgays genre
holy shit
>There are INFINITELY better genres in comic book fiction, and Japan has ALREADY blown this 'style' of fiction out of the water with My Hero Acedemia.
You're as cancerous as eric lmao
whatever pedo
> $35 plus shipping
> 90 pages
Marvel today solicited a 216 page TPB for $30. And you’ll be able to get it for cheaper from Amazon or your LCS.
This is just absurd pricing.
>But this is better.
Well it’s not, obviously.
But even if it was, their argument is that “it’s not a single issue it’s a TPB!” That may be true, but it’s a small and expensive TPB.
That's very woke of you to say.
Because I am saving for the Critical Drinker's comic as well.
>prequel to the Rambo series
Bitching about getting a Cease and Desist in 3... 2...
Has he not gotten the rights? I assumed that other guy Zack had the rights for that Expendables comic.
The Korean War broke out in 1950, John Rambo was born on July 6th 1947.
This idiot is making a comic about an inordinstrlu tall 3 year old going to fricking war
I'm not a Rambo aficionado, is that date mentioned in any of the movies?
And if it was a baby in a war, that legitimately sounds hilarious.
Are you expecting any sensible from a guy who had issues with Native Americans having domesticated dogs?
Do you expect these hacks to be good enough to read wikipedia pages? He's too dumb to "understand" superhero movies why do you think he can wrap his head around such pedestrian concepts as time or continuity.
maybe it's about his dad
The only comic with a black character tat I will read is Spawn and Spawn is still badass with better art than this book and all of the spin-offs are fun, Todd stays winning
What's Spawn up to now? I read it once from #1-#200 or so but gave up when the new guy took over the mantle.
Is he called rippa because he into to farting?
Why read ugly garbage american comics when you can read superior 1000 times folded Nippon manga?
>hey, how can we convince people to read our mediocre comic with black main characters now that a lot of mainstream media has black main characters too?
>I know! we'll just say that our comic is different because, uh, it's ANTIWOKE
lmao this is just too funny
Keep deep throating hairy ass Eric July, homosexual.
still better than you
>Walk into comic book store
>All books have been replaced by Isom and other Rippaverse books
>Walk into book store
>All books have been replaced by Isom and other Rippaverse books, again
>Walk into grocery store
>Rippaverse everywhere
>other Rippaverse books
What others
All of them
Man, the shills really are slowing down, aren't they? The last Griftaverse thread barely made 300+ posts, and most of those were us non-shills pointing out how mediocre Isom #1 was. Come to think of it, the last shill thread was about a week ago...
>ISOM
>Sydnee Bloodruth
>Goodyng
>Chadran
Why does this guy have such bad naming sense? Nothing in this shit sounds cool.
Chadran sounds fast and cool.
tbf, Chadran is an actual Hindu name that means "shining" in Sanskrit... although it's more often a) spelt "Chandran" and b) used as a surname instead of a given name.
No it doesn't, Eric.
>Open my mailbox
>Find a copy of Isom #1
>Flip through the pages, there's nothing from the storytime thread
>It's just Isom slowly walking closer and closer to meet the reader's face
>His eyes eventually meet mine when I eventually reach the final page
>Then, he's gone
>All the pages suddenly go blank
>The world around me goes silent
>I look up from the Isom comic book to see Isom himself standing from across the street
>"It's RIPPIN TIME!"
Did he actually use yellow filters on stock warehouse images???
He's put out TWO mediocre ass comics over a year apart. How is that solving anything? And does every comic besides Isom have wokeness and trans people in them? A lot of y'all have really convinced yourselves you're "owning the libs and eliminating woke" by supporting these untalented grifters selling you overpriced shitty comic books.
