>timeskip show >none of the pairings of the original show continued because they were children and you don't know who you love forever when you're a child
I wish Bryke had the balls to tell ALL the shippers to go frick themselves.
>biggest consistent character trait is a love of his culture and people >nomadic to the very core, wants to be every were all the time just to live it >canonically enjoys attention from multiple women >saves the entire world right as puberty is about to hit him like a fricking freight train
But no, he totally settles for Katara and literally never even glances at another female for the rest of his life. Despite the fact the Air Nomads didn't have parents and just had wild orgies every year or so to make more babies. Makes perfect sense, nothing wrong with this picture at all guise.
they were basically child soldiers who trauma bonded lmao
yeah katara was his first love, but they changed in very similar ways because they were literally in that war together
"kids *always* grow apart" is a stupid idea, because that only works if the two kids aren't deeply linked together by circumstance and experience different aspects of the world
That and Aang isn't a fricking manprostitute, he likes the attention but wouldnt put out like that
The last airbender being a manprostitute is probably not the legacy our goofball childish Aang would want to leave behind tbqh.
Your cultural bias towards the way of life HIS people chose is not the way a young man who prided himself on himself would see it. "Manprostitute" in this context is incredibly offensive. He's a nomad and his people had ALWAYS had children in a communal sense. Aang had no father, nor a mother. All adults were his parents. Would you say they were all prostitutes? Really?
No. The reason Aang isn't true to his people or his own culture is because the writers knew homosexual moron lobotomites like yourself would freak out about it.
By definition it wouldn't be, given the sex having only occurred at certain times and places. But Sozin put an end to it anyway, so I guess you have nothing to b***h about really.
Toph was still too young and just had a crush he didn't share, Sokka was after girls his own age with the same hormones and interests as his body demands, enter Suki.
> speaking of entering Suki
Reminder that it's basically canon that Toph felt Sokka and Suki banging each other during The Southern Raiders episode.
There's still not enough fan-art/fiction of Toph sobbing and fingering herself while being forced to feel/see Sokka and Suki plowing each other
I don't think anyone even knew Toph had a crush on him. And if Katara knew, she would probably bust Sokka's balls over it without really explaining why and leave him wondering wtf he did to deserve it.
Nah, dude. Zuko/Katara would've been better. Aang and Katara should not have gotten together. She seemed more like a older sister/mother figure to him. It should've stayed one-sided. Letting her go and killing the Fire Lord for real would've made for a better ending.
Oh jesus this again
Kataang being a bad ship (and it was!) does not make Zutara better. It just means the bar for "good" relationships in this show is in Ba Sing Se's sewers.
Their absolute ages and relative ages were too far apart. It's just barely a wider age gap than Aang and Katara but Toph looks younger than Aang, despite being the same age.
the definitive best possible end-of-show ships: >Azula/Zuko >Sokka/Suki >Aang/That girl from the fortune teller episode >Katara/Hakoda >Ty-Lee/Tea-Shop-Girl >Toph is single, occasionally fricks randos until she gets bored of them as is canon in Korra >Mei is dead, she never scored
they don't hate Toph.
But its true she (and Azula) were originally conceived as male characters until Aaron Ehasz convinced the other writers she should be a girl.
And although I can't find a concrete source on this, word on the grapevine was that male!Toph was going to be in a love triangle with Katara and Aang.
So, real glad we did not get that crap.
Imagine being homosexual!Toph, and you think you're going to bend over the last air bender. But you're blind so you end up having sex with Appa instead lmao. And that's how monkey pox got spread to flying bison.
>And although I can't find a concrete source on this
I forgot where I read it too, but yeah where their first idea for the Earth Bending Teacher was something more along the lines of The Boulder, till they decided to twist it by having someone like Toph instead since having the extra female was a nice balance to the group
Yeah, I don't think it would be bad per-say, there are dynamics between younger and older brothers that can be equally fricked up with an abusive father figure, and I think Azula(M) would make a good antagonist, but Azula as we have her is still better.
About the only thing the show did that I liked was showing that Aang as a full grown adult was still doing that stupid object spinning thing he did
Made it really feel like Aang never really let his responsibilities or past get to him, even as he aged
because they had a whopping one scene of teasing compared to three seasons of nothing at all
Why did it have one scene of teasing and then do nothing with it? An anit-social grump e-girl like Toph hacing her first crush is a cute idea.
I can think of 3 scenes off the top of my head.
ATLA had some curious final pairings for sure.
yea I still don't understand the incest one

sounds very loose
By definition it wouldn't be, given the sex having only occurred at certain times and places. But Sozin put an end to it anyway, so I guess you have nothing to b***h about really.
He wouldn't even need to be a manprostitute, he could literally just have his wife waterbend his baby gravy into the wombs of willing surrogates.
We got Aang x Katara
we got Zuko x Azula
we didn't get Soka x Toph
the network was afraid to pair a petite white girl with a black man
Because 4 people who traveled together in adolescence ending their lives as two married couples is insane.
Besides, Toph is my melon lord wife.
because suki was a way better match for Sokka and the better girl in general by a mile
Suyin is the result of an affair they had.
Huge mistake if you ask me.
people who didn't or barely watch LoK hates Korra, the ones who did, hates this b***h
Toph was still too young and just had a crush he didn't share, Sokka was after girls his own age with the same hormones and interests as his body demands, enter Suki.

I always thought that they got married off screen?
Why didn't Katara help Toph win over Sokka? All girls want their friends to be part of their family.
Katara liked Suki better, they all did
I don't think anyone even knew Toph had a crush on him. And if Katara knew, she would probably bust Sokka's balls over it without really explaining why and leave him wondering wtf he did to deserve it.
hot
and the sokka was the cucked one
The thumbnail sort of looks like Sokka has a huge ass
fricks sake i cant unseee it now
no wonder she's crying
>Sokka/Toph
>Zuko/Suki
the better path not taken
Nah, dude. Zuko/Katara would've been better. Aang and Katara should not have gotten together. She seemed more like a older sister/mother figure to him. It should've stayed one-sided. Letting her go and killing the Fire Lord for real would've made for a better ending.

ironically ba sing se's sewers isn't too far away from where the zutara fuel scene comes from
Their absolute ages and relative ages were too far apart. It's just barely a wider age gap than Aang and Katara but Toph looks younger than Aang, despite being the same age.
ypu know why

Could I get away with sucking Toph's toes and telling her it's how I communicate with blind girls?
The original creators hate Toph because they wanted her to be a big strong man
Is this true?
they don't hate Toph.
But its true she (and Azula) were originally conceived as male characters until Aaron Ehasz convinced the other writers she should be a girl.
And although I can't find a concrete source on this, word on the grapevine was that male!Toph was going to be in a love triangle with Katara and Aang.

Glass Half Empty take: we missed out on the Male!Toph/Aang god tier ship.
Imagine Male!Toph pegging Aang all night long
Imagine being homosexual!Toph, and you think you're going to bend over the last air bender. But you're blind so you end up having sex with Appa instead lmao. And that's how monkey pox got spread to flying bison.
Look, Appa doesn't have any mates in his time, he needs to take his loving where he can get it.
>baby you’re my forever girAAAAAAA
>And although I can't find a concrete source on this
I forgot where I read it too, but yeah where their first idea for the Earth Bending Teacher was something more along the lines of The Boulder, till they decided to twist it by having someone like Toph instead since having the extra female was a nice balance to the group
>she (and Azula) were originally conceived as male characters
Thank god this was changed, Azula would be far more generic if she was a dude.
Yeah, I don't think it would be bad per-say, there are dynamics between younger and older brothers that can be equally fricked up with an abusive father figure, and I think Azula(M) would make a good antagonist, but Azula as we have her is still better.
She should have gone with Zuko
Did Sokka stare at her feet?
so many threads
they did
About the only thing the show did that I liked was showing that Aang as a full grown adult was still doing that stupid object spinning thing he did
Made it really feel like Aang never really let his responsibilities or past get to him, even as he aged
showrunners hated sokka.
that's why he's the only one to die in between atla and korra.
it was not sokka a self-insertion? being he a dumbfrick but surrounded by girls makes me thought that
If Aang was 14 or 15 and acted more mature, would Zutara still be the most popular pairing or would Aang/Zuko or Kataang overtake it?
