Houki, the character Yumizuru the author wanted to win the MCbowl was not well liked by fans, justifiably because she's a bland, boring childhood friend and generally a shitty tsundere
However, he was also absolutely in love with his own creation, so much so that when he found out Houki wasn't even in the top 5 in a character popularity poll he decided to take revenge by showing how the rest of the haremettes are terrible and how Houki was the true and honest language love interest
