Pretty much 99% of economics boils down to supply and demand, price signals and incentives. If you understand the basics and can extrapolate you know it all more or less
And yet people don't even realize that little, just suppply and demand is alien concept.
That is by design. The true nature of inflation must be kept from the plebs. Should they know it is a deliberate policy of the central banks to print without end the plebs would rush into real goods.
Unironically people just don't have connected in their heads that inflation is tied to money you already have. Everybody says 'things are getting more expensive' instead of 'government makes my money more worthless' everytime they print.
