They go to Africa Planet and one of the strange Africans tries to kidnap a white woman to be his bride, and it goes downhill from there. Most animated series increase in cost over time as you've got to reward success or else you destroy the series with departures. So when the bean counters get nervous, a series gets cancelled regardless of quality or popularity.
