Speaking of benched, why did kylo ren even seek vaders (helmets) guidance for the dark side? he was the one who killed sidious and destroyed the galactic empire at the end of ROJ and the guy who turned him from the dark side was kylos mentor. did luke just forget to tell him that part of his story? rian was smart to never show this blatant inconsistency again.

I'm mixed on Rose. Apart from Kylo Ren and Poe she's the only character from the sequel trilogy who feels not only well rendered, but like they actually belong in Star Wars. But at the same time, her presence in the plot is too much in TLJ. Poe and Rose feel like they should be Captain Panaka or Admiral Piet level of exposure. Not Main character status.
