Where does this idea comes from that Scholar = servant?
The lich refers to himself as the last scholar of Golb and Simon said it in the last episode.

I’m guessing the Litch wants what Betty has to become Golb so he can end everything. Betty being Golb will probably be what stops him. Ether way it’s weird to have a Litch story without Finn.
Fionna is technically a finn.
It’s not the same 0 history, even with Finn first Litch encounter there was the history of Finn being a Billy fanboy and knowing who the Litch was so it was basically taking up Billy’s mantle. Fionna has none of this though, at least this version of Fionna so far.
When the magic's brought back into her world (Mushroom bomb going off) the Lich will show up as Jerry from HR

basically everything in Fionna's original world was the same. When it became un-magicked everything was recontextualized but Billie the early hero of Ooo probably still existed and fought the girl Lich or whatever
Yeah but the problem with that is this is animation a visual medium not a book and scratch that even if it was a book, it’s show not tell. Show us the connection, describe the two of them give them a reason to be enemies. It doesn’t hit as hard so it feels off it’s like having Lex Luther without superman it’s just not as good. It also cheapens Fionna a bit because she’s suppose to be different from Finn if she’s just Finn just use Finn. Hopefully they have Fionna get her memories back and have maybe a clip of reactions of her against the Litch. I mean they have to be different since Fionna still has both her arms.
I just feel so sorry for BMO in that world, but also I want to see them interact with "Jerry" so badly

I was moreso under the impression the Lich now had a direct portal to GOLB, where he either goes to merge with him to remove Betty or kills Scarab and try to kill Simon/Betty since he's in a new place with life
