I think the nature of the casting might make this shit just work. They're not overloading on random cast members that should "just get the job done." It's all about the chemistry they can bring. Which actually will yeah hinder the jap who prob cant locate the set typical zoro shit

I dunno man. Pretty much all the powers have been done in other shows or movies. Crocodile is just Sandman at the end of the day and Fishmen have been done in Pirates of the Caribbean What's the first really crazy location they go to? Even Skypeia is just a big forest 80% of the time.
The show is going to fail but if actual talent and money was put into it it could work

Much less, one piece, which has very strange characters that probably will probably be weird in seeing in live action. Marvel and DC comics have more grounded characters that are easy to pull off.

Stretchy powers have proven to be very difficult to do well in live action. I honestly can't think of one instance it where it has been.
It won't be a faithful adaptation but I am looking forward to seeing how big of a train wreck it'll be.
