Now I"m not a Cinemaphileidiot, so I don't pretend to know what the frick is going on at disney, but bringing a shovel is actually the EXPECTED outcome.
>it’s going to be adventurous to see Riley’s head during her teenage years
A teenage girl's thoughts and feelings are definitely the most adventurous and interesting movie plot ideas
There was only two sequels in their first 11 films, both Toy Stories. Funnily enough, the sequels only started rolling once Disney bought Pixar after coercing them into getting bought because they were planning on making their own soulless sequels via Circle 7. Funny how that works, huh?
Inside out is my second favorite Pixar movie behind Soul, I'm fricking furious finding out they're making another God damn sequel to a movie that didn't need it after stating years ago they wouldn't be making any more sequels
Only great one yet he's greenlighting below-dreamworks-tier films for the first time in the company's history. Also has been increasing susceptible to woke work-culture ever since he abandoned Christianity while making Soul
I don't see Pixar as the company to make a movie with the message "growing up os bad"
A lot of their movies have very positive messages regarding growing up and maturing
>then it'll be boycotted by the Corn Belt, who are the true gatekeepers of content
White Suburban America is dying, holmes. Figuratively and literally.
>Whatever a 13 year old girl would find the most sexually appealing and vice-versa for a boy
Damn. Maybe we'll get to see inside a boy's head this time around.

It would be interesting if they used their ideas from the original drafts which had every single emotion like schadenfreude but made it so that adolescence causes all the emotions to split into subcategories, making joy panic and try to "stop" it again because she doesn't know whats going on, and there would probably be a remerging back to 5 like we see with all the other adults, representing mental maturity.
The issue is that Pixar's track record with sequels is not good. Even Toy Story 2 is significantly worse than the original IMO.
There's always a chance for Inside Out 2 to break the mold, but it needs to take real risks. If it's formulaic like Incredibles 2 or Finding Dory then it will be a dud.
The concept has a lot of potential, they could go in so many different directions.
The first one wasn't, so probably no
first was terrible, no where to go but up i guess
they could always bring a shovel.

I would bet on a trainwreck.
Turning Red, Encanto, Luca, and Soul were all good.
Nice fan art OP.

Personally I don't want a Riley follow-up, would rather have an entirely different person with different emotions.
There's also a series in the works.
It will deal with sex and losing her virginity, right?
No, periods (again)
You aren't getting sexed up Riley.
Huh? Again??
>frick all of our movies have been underpreforming. let's just shamelessly go for the money
>implying they weren't always doing that

Literally every problem with Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel starts with Disney

Puberty gives them a lot of room to explore but what matters is execution.
I hope there's a masturbation scene
No Pete Docter, the only great one still at Pixar. So no.
Only great one yet he's greenlighting below-dreamworks-tier films for the first time in the company's history. Also has been increasing susceptible to woke work-culture ever since he abandoned Christianity while making Soul
It's going to be a PG rated version of Big Mouth, with hormones invading her and wreaking havoc.
It will bomb and be spun as some creepy anti-puberty message
I don't see Pixar as the company to make a movie with the message "growing up os bad"

Anon if they try to make it 'Turning Red for white people" then it'll be boycotted by the Corn Belt, who are the true gatekeepers of content

Your entire message is corny.
Puritan upbringing hardcoded any sort of change as "BAD" into them.
>growing up is creepy
What is wrong with conservatives?
Only if they add a horny emotion for teenager forgot her name
What would Horny look like?

It's a Pixar sequel that's not a Toy Story one. Do the math.

no
They could not get Fear nor Disgust's voice actors back for money issues, so no.
Where's the emotion that makes Riley switch genders??
The first one was cute... this one's gonna be awkward as frick
Sign me up
God no.
NO
Frick No!!!!! this shit will suck ass like the last disney films

If Riley gets fricked it’s saved
