peter parker is designed to look like a normal american high schooler, oda's style on the other hand relies on its original artstyle wich has proportions and anatomy all over the place, as most manga do. i think thats mostly the reason why most anime adaptations have been such failures
Spiderman is set in the real world. Featuring mostly real life conflict. The only thing not belonging is the superheroes and the villains. 1P is a self-parody featuring feminist garbage as a joke.
Part of me wants the show to be successful, cause I am curious if they are willing to follow in Oda's footsteps and let Caesar get away with everything just cause he's a funny guy.
how the frick they're gonna cover everything till baratei arc with 8 episode?? There's gonna be soo much complain on the internet after this especially on Cinemaphile
If anything it will be somewhat interesting to see them try and translate one of the goofiest and cartoony anime out there to live action.
At same time it will probably be extremely bland compared to the source material.
Taking outfits from colour spreads is a nice touch though
Yeah, obviously
Goofy show hundreds of episodes long gona be striped down to 30 episodes of mostly grimdark clusterfest and shitty cgi. Yea I can’t wait.
How the hell can you turn an anime into a live action series? It’s like trying to make looney toons live action or some shit.
why do normalgays think "anime" is a genre? is it the microplastics?
Because they aren’t losers like you
>you should be ashamed that you are not ignorant, unlike me
Anon never said it was a genre.
he implied that it was all like loony tunes, dummy.
Or a Spider-Man comic into a movie. Wouldn't that be nuts?

kek, based
shitda is a hack
fricking obliterated
Yes. Oda is built different. One Piece is built different. This will be it. The one good Anime live action adaption
No
Really? It's from the makers of the live-action Cowboy Bebop. It's gonna be woke crap, and you know it.
But they told me in here that the production company is different!
just make it "so bad, it's good" so we can all laugh at it
I think that’s how it will be at first but it will get old by the third episode
The fact that it looks passable is a certified miracle.
I give no fricks about anime, but I'll watch just for her.
It's most definitely going to be another case of Cowboy Bebop, ie. cringey and cheap.
you waifu simps have been posting this 6/10 for over a decade but you never show her recent post-wall pics
It already is
THE ONE PIECE ISREAL
I still can't tell if this is real because why the hell would that image exist but at the same time it wouldn't be out of character for Oda
It will be so kino that it filters everyone. Like Netflix Death Note.
Part of me wants the show to be successful, cause I am curious if they are willing to follow in Oda's footsteps and let Caesar get away with everything just cause he's a funny guy.
>live action anime adaptation
>on Netflix
>from the same production company that brought you Cowboy Bebop live action
Do the math
how the frick they're gonna cover everything till baratei arc with 8 episode?? There's gonna be soo much complain on the internet after this especially on Cinemaphile
Episode 1: Koby and Zoro
Episode 2: Nami
Episode 3: Usopp
Episodes 4 & 5: gayji on the Baratie
Episodes 6 & 7: Arlong
Episode 8: Loguetown and reaching Reverse Mountain
With a good non-Oda pacing they can do the entire series in 9 and a half seasons.
If anything it will be somewhat interesting to see them try and translate one of the goofiest and cartoony anime out there to live action.

I only just started watching One piece for the first time, recently. I feel like this was made for me.
>Netflix
>Kino

cringekino perhaps
