It's going to be a bunch of cringy references to shit like covid, a couple of forced tear-jerker moments so Reddit can have its heckin dog moment again, and yet another fry/leela romantic conclusion.
they already ran out of jokes to the point of repeating premises from previous episodes (but worse) in one of the many relaunches. it's going to be shit. my bet is on it being way too cynical, and probably on it being woke as well

Futurama seasons 1-4 are the funniest seasons of television ever produced, and the first movie is similarly excellent. Everything since has been diminishing returns bar like 3 or 4 episodes from the CC seasons. There wasn't a single joke in the trailer that made me laugh, the whole thing just made me sad. Is anyone actually excited for the fricking covid episode? Or the "Zapp Gets Cancelled"? Just let it die.
