I mean Gail was never really invested in the Vs Magus plotline. He was just there to be a mentor figure for Ellie and to avenge his dead wife. Once he did that he passed his avenger's eye to Ellie and now gets to retire. Especially as the injuries he sustained at the end of season 3 mean he isn't gonna be able to keep fighting anyway. Let the man rest already.

6. He's not powerful in magic, but he makes up for it by learning supplementary spells and tactics. Putting water into a jar, converting it to oil, and then lighting it on fire with a trail of powder to be an explosive saved his and Viviane's life against the Goblins.

Jace played it fast and loose and in the end he got burned for it. Besides he literally was an antagonist in the fifth episode before deciding he wanted to join the good guys and try and romance Ecella. The MC's girl. He had getting burned coming, hopefully we don't have to see him for the rest of the series.
But what is his endgame?

Considering he's immortal, hangs out wwith the royal family of the evil empire, been all the royal family photos, and generals respect him. I suspect that he has some deep keikaku going on. Honestly, I doubt the Emperor even attached him to his daughter.
I mean think about it. He pretends to be a jester, but has Generals bowing to him. He killed the Third Prince who was stronger than the Princess and seemingly doesn't care about upsetting the Emperor with this . And he planned for her to become a Hero for the Empire in their retreat.
He is completely sus. Honestly, I hope he's not related to the princess because I don't want another incest pairing like Zuko and Azula here.

Sure, but he seemed genuinely irritated by that. He either hates being known as powerful because it ruins his plans, or he just wants to frick around without people paying attention to him. My money is on the latter, because everything he’s done has no coherence to it.
Probably just change his face after everything is set and done begin another life continue to manipulate for amusement

You mean all the way back from the Eskeshuteh/Emperor Kronus period? That period of time is pretty interesting and would be cool if they explored it more.

I tried myself earlier but people kept introducing new characters as I was doing it and it all got too complicated. If no one else does it I might try myself later for fun.
I was planning to make a couple docs after the thread dies. It might take a while though.
I made this thread primarily to shrill my own setting and OCs - like the gods, and yes even Sway. They have a few dozen stories of their own that build the series over multiple universes. About 33% of the lore was me posting and spinning my series and seeing how people responded. Alot of it got mixed in with other's interactions which made it kind of interesting to see interpreted very differently.
I don't mind if someone archives and tries to pierce something together from said thread, just thought it'd be helpful to give context.
And now all my interest is gone.
I was wondering if anyone was basing their input on their own OC ideas. Do you consider any of the stuff brought up here to contribute to your own canon or is this a separate thing from your OC?
I'll probably pick and choose ideas and lore that fit well.

I doubt it. Probably most of the more lore intense posts going on about gods and shit was a samegay but a lot of the little details and random new ideas thrown in were original posters.
Would people be interested in a part 2 of this kind of thread, maybe starting from scratch? I honestly find them to be pretty fun, especially when people go out of their way to include concepts previously introduced in the thread when they make a contribution. That way it actually feels like there's a hypothetical show being discussed instead of 5 different shows crammed in one. The art we got for this one was also pretty cool.
Basically,
Sway, Mercy, Thatti, Rebecca, Ellie, Flora, Milo, David, any of the deities, Rondo, Xi and Orchid were from the setting.
Everyone else was thread input.

Just in case Gert has fair skin, pink hair, and a green outfit, Kiwi has brown skin, brown hair but she tints it green and a black outfit.
Just gunna say it right now, Arthur should have sided/went with the Fairy Anwry, instead of staying loyal to Gwen. Anwry was a literal better supporting character than Gwen could in 3 episodes than Gwen's entire story arc
