>Do you think Ozai will ever change in prison? What regrets do you think he'll have in 10 years? 20?
I don't think he would ever fully admit or realize that he was wrong to commit all of his crimes, but I like to think at one point that he had the realization that he had followed in his father's footsteps in regards to raising his children and it brought about his downfall, both personally and legacy wise, like it did for Azulon. Especially if he ever talks to a redeemed Azula and Zuko before they go no contact with him for good.
For, I think he would eventually realize that he did a one point have two loyal kids willing to kill for him and that if he had been a slightly better father, he they would still be his side as they ruled the world.
Yeah, he really fricked up. If he had kept Zuko around instead of sending him off with Iroh, Zuko would have shaped up eventually. And if Zuko doesn't defect, Mai and Ty Lee have no reason to and Azula stays intact.
Motherfricker could've been Phoenix King if he wasn't such a bad dad.
>And if Zuko doesn't defect, Mai and Ty Lee have no reason to and Azula stays intact.
Do you think Zuko's defection, other than eventually causing Mai and Ty Lee's defection (as well her losing Ozai's favor), hurt Azula? Especially after she had essentially handed him the throne?
I love how, in addition to making Zuko a cuck and ruining his relationship with Mai, Yang's comics have cranked the mommycest vibes up to 11. If I didn't think Zuko wanted to frick his mother BEFORE these comics, I sure as hell think he does NOW.
Well, he gave Ursa the title of Firelady once again while he himself is Firelord
I am just kinda surprised Azula doesn't seem to give a shit about daddy anymore while Ozai is surprisingly reasonable on the comics.
Before his redemption arc, he was hotheaded, berated anyone for their failure to carry out orders, and was too quick to pursue Aang, to the point it almost cost him his life on several occasions. For a time he reflects, and becomes more human. He helps Aang disguised under the alias of The Blue Spirit, and runs a tea shop for a short time with Iroh after fully defecting. He’s still a bit of a hothead but he tries to be a better person, and goes to some serious lengths to do so. He softens up quite a bit, taking Iroh’s teachings to heart. These changes allow him to become the Fire Lord with the rest of the main cast not having to worry about him turning into Ozai 2.0, comics be damned.
>read this comic at some point >forgot what actually happened in it >just remember hating Ursa for being a total c**t who abandons her children.
I've forgotten the comic and I'm still mad.
Damn the Fire Lord way aged better than Ursa

Yeah, but the real question is why is his skin darker despite not seeing the sun for over a year.

Prison can change a man.

How?
I don't like most Avatar characters. What was zuko's personality anyway?

Don't care, not watching it. Korra has permanently killed my interest in any future avatar projects. Let it die already.

Tbqh it's one of the most decent ones amongst all of the comics, complete character assasination for Ursa on it's ending tho
