>Deals with familiar and relatable topics in a way that isn't completely over-the-top and unrealistic
>Makes you struggle with and genuinely empathise with a piece of shit instead of forcing empathetic qualities on him like another well known show
>Actually ended on a low note whilst not being too depressing/dramatic
none
Why are you there?
Incurable mental illness
Bojack-gays STILL seething.
Why are you projecting?
They have nothing else to live for
why not make like your hero and attempt suicide lol
You first
I've seen more people claiming the cutaway pissed off Bojack fans than genuinely upset Bojack fans

Simpsons but a New England guy?
normal words..
>Normal words but a dog guy.....
Don't do it bro he's going to kill himself like brianemmy
Should have ended after Season 3
but season 4 was the best one
Tuca and Bertie hit better
literally no one watched that shit
they should have, because it actually is better
>Normal words, but a horse guy!
Hopefully not.
I have mixed feelings on the conflict for the ending arc.
It's really obvious that the reveal of Sarah Lynn was a retcon and it stands out twice as bad in a show that's pretty meticulous about its buildup. It feels like a cheat and they where obviously building up to addressing what happened with Penny.
On the other hand I also understand not wanting to fumble that plotline and not feeling like they had the time to stick the landing, so diverting to the other lowest emotional point of the show to pull off some resolution, which it mostly does after it's past the catalyst.
I'd have like to known the original outline for the ending.
I liked Bojack for the first three seasons or so but then it just started huffing its own farts way too much. The main problem is that it does this whole thing about the cycle of depression, which is realistic sure, but in a TV show it just means your main character keeps making the same exact mistakes every season and paying for it the exact same way until you get cancelled
Also it really started to get on my nerves how whenever a character has some big emotional and ""deep"" monologue they always put on the same low, slowly spoken tone of voice. It's especially noticeable with Will Arnett's performance, whenever Bojack has a big character moment he always speaks in the same fricking way
>whenever Bojack has a big character moment he always speaks in the same fricking way
because it's part of his narcissit traits. he's adopting a "i'm remorseful" or whatever persona that always sounds the same because it's a persona, not genuine remorse
>piece of shit
Bojack wasn't actually a bad guy until that retcon in the last season.
Yeah, the retcon basically killed the series for me. They could have saved it by not making the final episode and having The View from Halfway Down be the epilogue, but they didn't.
no
Diane was the worst part of the show. I couldn't even finish the series after she had an abortion.
I thought that they made her intentionally unlikable.
at least they acknowledged that diane was not a good person
unlike a certain someone else
Todd is easily the worst part of the entire thing.
Diane triggers every quality in females men find annoying
I think she's OK except when writers get stupid ideas like gun control episode.
I was kinda surprised to learn she was hated.
Bojack was genuinely the best person in the series because he acknowledged his wrongdoings and actively tried to fix them
lol
Charlotte.
No
Well BoJack was just a newer version of Duckman so I don't see why not. Look forward to your next show in another 20 years or so.
>hits
Oh it hits alright, the fan, because it's shit.
...why did he have to be a horse?
To attract the horsegirl audience?
So he could speak normal words
Because his name is BoJack Horseman? It would be weird if he wasn't actually a horse-man
This thread sucks dick and I thoroughly regret making it
