The games are already stitched together movie references blah blah you wanted to make a gta6 hype thread.

I'm quite looking forward it. In my eyes rockstar has a near perfect record and despite the garbage social politics of the last decade and key people leaving the company, I have high hopes.

yeah but you could say the same about TLOU and they still get an adaptation

you need another excuse to not make a GTA film at this point

It would be a generic action crime movie with cluckin bell in it and one liners galore. I'm sure it would be a box office hit with normies but who cares?

there's something about life action that even the most graphically intense games couldn't convey

thanks for giving me something to watch tonight

There are plenty of movies that are inspired by GTA.
One such movie is: Wrath of Man
        (actually good, starring Statham)

IV would have made a great film if they maintained the same violence and cynicism as the game itself.

Just like red dead is mostly just scenes and story beats taken wholesale from pre-existing westerns GTA mostly consists of knock off scenes from crime films so it would be entirely pointless.

Theres no desire or reason to make it and it wouldnt be a scratch on the money the games make. So it would be 100% a complete waste of time for everyone involved.
