I do agree with some of the criticism that, instead of recreating the old cartoon at modern quality (Which looked good, surprised anyone put that much work into 2d animation that time), they should have made it look authentically low-budget and garbagey, so the jokes about their weird behavior (just appearing in a scene because drawing them walking over would cost too much) would make more sense.
Oh and I could have done without the rap. but other than that, great stuff.

This show's artstyle really straddles the line between comfy and scary. It and Cosby's other cartoons like Little Bill used to frighten a lot me out when I was a kid. I still get a little creeped out by them sometimes but I appreciate how vibrant the colors are and how great a lot of the character design is.
