I watched the trailer, and it did not entice me to go watch this movie. In fact, it turned me off from watching it. The humor is too modern rather than timeless, so it will be dated.

Anon you can't judge a book by it's cover, or a movie by it's trailer. How do you know you won't be interested in you don't go and see it on day one! Your not a CHUD are you?!

No it's not, they are clearly mixing everything to say that this wish movie trailer has many views when in reality half of it is the algorithm adding a view every time someone watches 3 seconds of the movie in facebook and twitter as if it was a complete view, and the other probably likes and dislikes being added.

I also did read some really negative first impressions pointing out that they clearly don't know what to do other than "let's make it seem like back in the day people were the same as now with the whole white people bad, black and brown people important shit"

if two homosexuals kiss in a movie, and there’s no one around to watch it, does it make a gay?

It didn't work until S. Korea started to pick up the movie. Everything else was how about it was such a bomb. And nobody put two-and-two-together that it was because the racemix allegory was undercut by everyone being cast by Koreans and basically turning it into a class allegory instead.

This is such fricking blatant gaslighting. The movie made less than Toy Story 2 and film that released in 1999. The movie wasn't successful just because it out performed the good dinosaur and Lightyear.

It succeeded in eastern countries because they're obsessed with having sex with white people, which is what the movie was a metaphor for. The director is an Asian who married a white woman.

They’re aggregating Twitter and Facebook “views” which are more or less just seeing the post as you scroll (sometimes forced as an ad), it’s why they’re being cagey and saying “across all platforms” as opposed to just YouTube

        COMPLETE AND UTTER BOLLOCKS.
I saw the trailer...on screen as an ad in a fricking wendys. They're absolutely counting shit like that.

Because the character design, the jokes, and animation all look like crappier copies of classic Disney.

It looked like a crappy copy of reamworks.

Transfomers: Rise of the Beasts had the highest trailer views of any Paramount release ever.

Not only is it not Paramount's highest-grossing release of 2023, it is the lowest-grossing live-action Transformers movie ever made.

Huge trailer views mean little in an era where autoplays easily inflate them.

      >Huge trailer views mean little in an era where autoplays easily inflate them.
As well as the trailer playing as an ad infront of different videos. The Flash got inflated trailer numbers that way despite no one in reality seeing the damn thing.

All Disney ever did was adaot fables, literature and fairytales. Now that such stories are problematic white male imperialism they have nothing to go off.

Disney should go back to that. That's what people want out of Disney- to tell the best, family-friendly, happily-ever-after fairytales.

            Anonymous

Yeah, should have made a different srudio and put all the experimental/groundbreaking/edgy stuff there. Then they can just incorporate whichever sticks to the greater Disney brand.

    >I can tell you right now dude, if Disney or any studio started to adapt African or Chinese fairy tales loyally respecting the male characters, I wouldn't watch them.
Why not? Are you that racist to not even watch a movie because it has a character that is nonwhite? If the movie is good, what's the issue? I get being annoyed by bad movies who attack all white people for being white, but shitting on every movie that has a nonwhite character is just as stupid as what these companies are doing
