I cannot imagine still having investment in this iteration of the character, even if you liked every movie. MCU Thor has gone beyond running his course at this point, we're a good deal into lap 2 now.
Even if Disney does pivot and gives you something that you want, you realize you're still subsidizing people who hate you, and will never apologize to you, and will revert back to what they were the moment they feel safe to do so.
I'd rather the MCU just ran itself into the ground with no survivors, so that the IP may be passed along to someone else. Barring that, I'm happy to walk away.

It didn't had any hope from the start. Mcu was just an easy paycheck for disney/marvel and they put the most investment/character development into iron man and captain America because they were the face of the mcu. they were planning to make on and make black panther and spider man the next big faces but look at where we are now.
That's why I always enjoyed film trilogies more then tided in franchise.

While I think Logan is dogshit I also think you’re right. I’m assuming hemsworth is pulling a Harrison Ford and will only return if they kill thor off, in this case in a blaze of glory.
We MAY get a he-man revelation type of story where he’s a force ghost for the rest of the film but who knows. Either way, I didn’t watch the gay ass love and thunder and won’t be watching this. Ragnarok ruined thor and he hasn’t been the same since.

MCU Thor was always bad they just made him a different type of bad.
My hope is that Deadpool 3 ends up somehow being so bad that it's the killing blow for the MCU.

if you had said to anybody in 2011 when that first Thor movie came out that they'd be seriously considering a Thor 5 in the same series, let alone within 15 years, you'd have sounded insane
