>Satan influences a whole family to kill each other >they end up in heaven cuz they were trying to be faithful Christians >the daughter who's still alive becomes a vvitch and so turns from God but she has her whole life to repent and probably will eventually, also ending up in heaven
Satan always loses, dipshit. He got BTFO 2,000 years ago and will continue to stack up L's until the end of time when he's thrown into the lake of fire.

holy shit you neckbeard redditors are so fricking autistic. we're talking about a movie, and Christianity was real in the movie. it's fricking crazy how Christianity just lives rent free in your head.

>Just so you know, atheism was right long before r/atheism existed
Atheism is quite literally the most midwit belief system in existence. It's for people who are just barely intelligent enough not to blindly accept the beliefs they were raised with, but who aren't nearly intelligent enough to accurately perceive reality or use basic logic.

Totally. That's why you can accurately perceive what's actually going on and will easily let me in (without referencing religion). You can easily and comfortably understand everything about the nature of the universe from your infinitesimally small place on earth with your infinitesimally small primal animal brain that can't even comprehend the universe's size. You're not a midwit, you're a moron with delusions of grandeur.

>a backwardly infinite casual chain is logically and metaphysically impossible, therefore the universe necessarily had a beginning >a thing cannot cause itself to come into existence, nor can a thing come into existence out of nothingness, therefore something beyond the universe must have brought the universe into existence
Look at how fricking simple those two points are. They're so obvious that they're considered common sense for most people, but not for you. Like most atheists, you are either too stupid or too arrogant to realize how ignorant and irrational you really are.

>>a backwardly infinite casual chain is logically and metaphysically impossible, therefore the universe necessarily had a beginning
Something that always existed doesn't need to have a beginning you stupid frick. That's just for instance, I'm not even saying it's necessarily the case. My personal stance, much more informed than yours, is that it's impossible to know what's going on. I compare humans trying metaphysics to ants on an anthill trying to parse out the way grass grows, oblivious to how huge the planet is that they're on, of things like New York and humans etc. Because they're limited by their insect birth. We're probably limited in the same way. But you more than others.
The universe doesn't need to have a beginning. Read the World as Will and Representation by Schopenhauer where he explains why. You haven't.
Spinoza also explains that the Universe has always existed and that God is immanent (you'll need to google that term).
Roger Penrose the modern metaphysicist recently proposed a theory for a cyclical eternal universe that is reborn by its own heat death. You could look into that. You've never heard of it, right? I know.
Stop spending all day trying to sound smart on Cinemaphile and actually do something with your brain dumbass.

The first sentence of your reply proved that you didn't even comprehend the portion of my comment that you quoted, so I didn't bother reading the rest of what you said. Enjoy the rest of your blissfully ignorant moronic life.

Insane how fricking stupid you are dude. You're not saying anything complicated and there is no misunderstanding. You said in a very wordy and impressive way that something can't exist without a First Cause. Nobody's ever heard that argument. Oh wait, everyone has, and I cited you some counter examples. Can't believe I'm having to break this down for you. have a nice day.
i watched this. couldnt decide if i liked it or not. they definitely marketed it wrong. tried to get plebs to think it was a jumpscare horror instead of what was essentially an isolation drama with some supernatural elements. i think ultimately it was an alright movie.
It's not about Salem but Häxan is pretty kino.
not really. it's boring and old.
Pleb filtered
