The actor for Cyclops died, that's all I know about who passed. The VA for Jubilee has been re-cast.

I loved these games. Capcom Marvel Super Heroes got me accustomed to the air combos and playing a Wolverine. When X-Men vs Street Fighter came out in the arcades, it seems like all the gamers in the city were talking about it When the game came out as an Import title for Sega Saturn only available in Japan, I spent the extra money to get an import copy. This and TAS was X-Men 's peak before moving on to the Fox Studios movies.

Marvel screwed the 90s X-men was back in the 90s when they let Jeph Loeb kill the Externals for no good reason, also let Wolverine kill Cable son who would be the master bad guy for bring Magneto for 10million time.

I just feel like the art quality dropped in the comics after Jim Lee left. Then the Animated series took over and re-told much of what Clairemont wrote and the now iconic character designs Clairemont left. The last piece of the Jim Lee / Clairemont Era is the Capcom Video Games,

Capcom is too hyperfocused on Street Fighter and Resident Evil right now, with Dragon's Dogma happening only because they owed it to Itsuno.

Marvel meanwhile still hates the X-Men.

Capcom has a guy in charge who really loves the Capcom Marvel Era, he's always posting stuff on twitter /x about how much fun they had working on the Marvel vs Capcom games. I believe he's pushing for a new Marvel project, but Disney is much more involved than directly working with 90s Marvel Comics.

Modern Crapcom couldn’t make a decent game if someone handed it to them on a silver platter. Just endless rehashes worse than the games they’re rehashing. Pure AAA sloppa.

Even if they still had their soul, D*sney would see to it none made it into the final product.

Street Fighter 6 brought the Fighting game Community(FGC) back after Covid, its a damn good game with a formula that only needs minor tweeks and advances in artistic quality. The best thing about the Street Fighter games is it always has the rock solid gameplay that was never drastically changed in the main series. Every time you land combo or just connect with the dragon punch the game feels satisfying.

This is the most corporate looking post Ive seen since the Borderlands days lmao. How much are they paying you to pretend people dont hate 6 even more than 5? SF has been bottom tier fightan since they stopped making new Alphas.

You missed out on Street Fighter III and IV. SF IIII had amazing animation and the addition parrying gameplay gave it an extra dimension of defense and counter offense. SF IV brought back much of the well known SF 2 and Alpha rosters. The only bad fighting game Capcom made was Capcom Fighting Evolution. Do your damn research noob!!!

the people who don't like Street Fighter are the people who played the game one time online and got their ass stomped in less than 30 seconds in a match. That's the one big flaw of Street Fighter, experience players give you no mercy and it scares the frick out of kids who lose at a video game.

      > hyperfocused on street fighter

they put out street fighter 6 in the same year they released RE4make and Left 4 Dino Crisis, that's not hyperfocusing

They were also allowed to release a bunch of Marvel Arcade games for the 1Up Home Arcades. Also time Street Fighter is exposed thru a crossover game means more money for Capcom to focus on other fun projects they want to do,

Considering how hellish MvC:I’s production was with Disney breathing down Capcom's throats its unlikely we'll ever get a new game. Honestly I'd rather they do crossovers with other companies instead. Gimme a JUMP vs Capcom game, please. Anything other than shitty arena fighters

That's what I'm hoping for, we have five games that can be ported that have only got a release on arcade1up cabinets.

The actor for Cyclops died, that's all I know about who passed. The VA for Jubilee has been re-cast.

Professor X and Magneto's VAs are also deceased as well Sabretooth's (Cree Summer's Dad) and Apocalypse's and Len Carlson who coincidental characters

Cyclops VA is dead. Xavier's still alive actually, he's still active in acting he's doing a stage show right now.

Do they have Cyclops new VA, I would think they bring back Nolen North since he voiced him in Wolverine and the X-Men.
