I can't stand when people think their knowledgeable about one specific thing so they hyper focus on that like an autist and ignore everything else about the movie and the point goes right over their head. I don't know hat you call this type of person. it's like Sam Harris, he's a Ph.D but also a complete moron when he's not talking about neuroscience.
How?
When I saw it in theaters, I found the ending very predictable and a bit tired, and too much of the movie riding on the looks of the actors.
I find out years later that the internet seems to like it and thinks the movie has a clever twist.
Somehow this makes me the same as the people that write the internet opinions I read and disagreed with?
I used to enjoy these "Describe a movie badly" threads years back.
Now that the most popular boards are filled with israelites, shitposters, third world shitheads, and dickchoppers, the crossdressing bussy loving jannies just 404 these threads as soon as they get moving good.
I shall wait on the obligatory "Ok Boomer" response from the shitheads.
It’s funny because I actually studied under one of husserls actual foremost scholars and I’d never say that anywhere but this place. I used to have speaking roles at SPEP. Now I post sneed.
I forgot the name, but its the russian space movie where the planet causes people to have visions or whatever. Then the movie itself is an inquiry into the astronauts because they dont believe them
autistic people shouldn't be allowed to watch movies
Uhhh Solaris, I think?
Also I hope this guy got raped
>World's foremost Husserl scholar
I wonder if he's still producing content (since 2010)
Tenet
Solaris. Mentioning the Moscow/Tokyo driving scene gave it away.
Solaris. Absolute dead give away wit the highway scene.
Solaris. Highway sequence and Moscow/Tokyo references gave it right away.
Solaris. Moscow and Tokyo and driving? Dead give away.
Samegay or bot
Rhonin
why'd he give it 4 stars then
that's a good question, anon

sam harris is actually just a moron, and you don't know enough neuroscience to tell he is at stanford due to his parents' wealth and influence
"intellectual yet idiot"
Solaris
10 minutes of driving made it really obvious
Not OP but seems like a fun thread. Should be an easy one, what movie are they talking about Cinemaphile?
Magnolia?
Yep, you people are too smart
>year 2000
>Tom Cruise
>muh Altman was better
It could literally only be Magnolia
Vanilla Sky or Magnolia, I imagine.
Still dont understand how people think Vanilla Sky is any good or "it was a dream" is in any way clever.
Thinking it was trying to be clever makes you just like the people this thread is mocking.

>nothing happening
>set in Russia
Gotta be Tarkovsky
Easy, Home Alone 2
This guy is a gay with no friends.
I'd feel bad for him, but he's an obvious midwit with a massive ego.
Should be another easy one. Looks like a review Cinemaphile would write about this specific film
Oldboy?
Yeah, two hints are the film's location and animal cruelty. Ding ding ding!
It’s funny because I actually studied under one of husserls actual foremost scholars and I’d never say that anywhere but this place. I used to have speaking roles at SPEP. Now I post sneed.
strangelove?
Well shit, I thought that review was generic enough to be challenging.
Ok I think this one will be challenging. I can post other reviews if it's too generic
Inception?
Nah, more recent film
The Big Lebowski?
I forgot the name, but its the russian space movie where the planet causes people to have visions or whatever. Then the movie itself is an inquiry into the astronauts because they dont believe them
4/5 stars
Rebel Moon(not Snyder cut)
Too old, review is from 2022.
Tenet? Do I just hate Nolan?
Haha here's another review for the same film, should provide an easy hint
I have it but I won't tell you
Oh, The Everything Everywhere thing.
Eesh, I'm no good at this; without the bagel thing I was thinking Ad Astra.
Very nice, knew the bagel hint would work
Prey 2022? Did not actually watch the film
nope, tv show
Last one for me to post today. Kinda butthurt cause I love the film, hopefully someone here can guess it; it is a Cinemaphile recommendation
True Romance?
Nope. Released a bit after that
4 Rooms?
Chunking Express?
We have a winner! Enjoy your day anon
Good thread.
Frick you I was going to write that before I refreshed the thread
Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift
Solaris is really good and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
I actually thought the driving scene was the best part in Solaris
Solyaris.
