Trailers are generally outsourced to companies that specialize in them. GotG-style needle drop trailers are popular which is why the Borderlands trailer got the same treatment.
Transformers doesn't work like that. It's a multiverse system, where everything officially released is part of (or spawns!) a valid alternate universe. It's not one continuous canon, universes can have differences.
