I would enjoy it if Woody Allen dropped soon.. and I’m not talking about a film.

Is Gomez dressed as Velma in A Rainy Day in NY intentional?

I didn't realize before. But I guess it's not Velma without the socks and glasses.

Everyone who's seen Midnight in Paris enjoyed it. But my favorite is Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Start with coffee and cigarettes, if you like that keep going.

for me, it's all the mid-buget movies from the 80s-90s with unknown actors and just a simple plot, it's fricking kino

        Like Small Time Crooks

Makes me realize that these kinds of movies 100% don't exist anymore

I grew up watching all his films. The comedies and the dramas. I remember the ending of the Purple Rose of Cairo really hitting me right in the feels. His modern films aren't as good IMO. Good, but not as good. I find Match Point to be underrated, though.

Pretty easy to see why he was so successful with Women.

His movie characters do not equal his actual personality. For instance, the real Woody Allen is into sports, fast cars, and athleticism much more than the nebbish nerd he portrays in movies.

Speaking of A Rainy day in NY, quite mediocore 6/10. Chalemant is too handsome for Allen's selfinsert and the twist with the mom was complete asspull.

Sassy Gomez and quirky Fanning are both good, though.

Compared to Manhattan Murder Mystery, which I saw a few weeks before and is a much better film, it shows the kids in A Rainy Day are exactly the same type of characters only it is not as natural with such a young cast. Everyone in A Rainy Day being so bloody upper class without any comment on it felt very unlike Allen.
