Nope. Did you see the new Ghostbusters movie? You know how it is between Egon's granddaughter and the ghost girl? Same energy.
I only care about Sentry. Tell me all about him. His role, his look, how it ends for him, etc.
Megapowerful reality-warping supersoldier created during the Blip. Starts out locked in a secret base in the desert, which Val tricks the T-bolts into raiding so she can get her hands on him. She brainwashes him into becoming her enforcer, but obviously loses control and the Void takes over. He nests in a small town, warping it into a hellscape, and prepares to do the same to the rest of the world. The T-Bolts have to go there to break Bob free so he can go full Sentry and stop the Void. It eventually works, there’s a Superman-level boss battle between the Sentry and the Void, and the Sentry seemingly vanquishes the Void. Yelena almost kills him when he reverts back to Bob, but chooses not to, and Bucky instead sends him to Wakanda to get the same therapy that cured him of his brainwashing and demons. He asks the T-Bolts to erase his memories of his powers, but in the end there’s the clear implication something is still there, but whether it’s the Sentry or the Void is unclear.
>Ghost and Taskmaster are lesbian-coded.
I swear you have to good character and the best you can do is lesbian. >They're girls what does it matter
This shit right here. I read the thunderbolts and loved ghost on the team. Ideally I would like the movie with Guost on the thunderbolts. But you have this nothing of a character.
>more Wakandawank
Whatever. I don't believe you, but humor me and describe the costume of Sentry and the Void.
Sentry is pretty much the comics costume with MCU textures and Y-shape, and no big ass belt. Void is the same costume, but red and black rather than blue and yellow.
>Dark Avengers.
tell Kevin Feige I will beat the shit out of him for not convincing the Mouse to actually spend their shekels to buy the Spider-Man IP so we could have a proper Dark Avengers with Stormin' Norman without having to cooperate with Snoy beforehand. Everything else is NOT MUH tier garbage.
>Dark Avengers.

Ugh. I wanted the big S belt... >Void is the same costume, but red and black rather than blue and yellow.
Basic but expected.
>Taskmaster dies
Thank God. One of the worst adaptations ever, X-Men Origins Deadpool tier. How does she die?
>kill shitty MCU Taskmaster >introduce Tony Masters to take up the mantle
They'd never do it because the MCU isn't allowed to not be lame nowadays but it would at least give me hope.
I am really hoping you are full of shit anon because the thought of moonstone going through her famous redemption arc and coming out more liked than carol infuriates me for not having it sooner
>Ghost and Taskmaster are lesbian-coded.
Boring. They should play Ghost like the paranoid freak that he is. Iron Man VR succeeded doing that to a female Ghost as well, why the laziness?
Yeah first question; why did they have the shittiest team roster possible, essentially leftovers from Black Widow no one wanted? Only decent choices here are US Agent and Ghost

could they seriously not, like, just pretend Zemo was there the entire time and bullshit up him seeking out new people to turn to a life of crime as fake superheroes or something? Why the frick are we embracing degenerating the T-Bolts into Marvel's Suicide squad in a world where the Suicide Squad movies have all failed and they just got their asses blown out in a videogame so fricking bad it helped resurrect gamergate despite the media's desperate attempts otherwise.
Also none of these have a good design other than USAgent, why the frick have we reverted to a early 2000s X-Men "Heroes must be realism which is Tacticool" shit.
>early 2000s X-Men "Heroes must be realism which is Tacticool" shit
This. Where are the colorful costumes? Everyone on thunderbolts and even dark avengers are visually distinct from each other.
That was promotional concept art from the D23 announcement 2 years ago using existing character designs. If the leaked new Ghost suit is any indication, they've all gotten new costumes.
>Super soldier (female) >Super soldier >Super soldier >Super Soldier (female) >Super soldier >Intangible stealth operative >fat lady
is this the most boring Thunderbolts lineup possible? jfc
I'm taking a wild guess. They always try to larp that the movies are actually different genres even as they all maintain the same tone. Steve had the tacticool 80s action movie stuff going on and now that he's out, they're gonna try to use this to fill that gap.
This is your MCU take on "badass spec-ops action team" movies
Not OP but for some fricking reason Marvel has been turning the T-Bolts into their version of the Suicide Squad ever since the original run ended despite OG T-Bolts being the most successful they ever were and way more popular than the Suicide Squad was either.
So this is happening because modern marvel thinks the T-Bolts are the Suicide Squad and somehow didn't see the actual Suicide Squad repeatedly bomb with every major project.
Parker run is pretty good and it's basically a Suicide Squad team, they can make it work like that, they just need good writers, the main problem here is that they are ignoring the premise of the original team and adapting the SQ team first.
They don't want to "devalue" the Avengers name in their eyes, which is why the Thunderbolts look more like the Dark Avengers and they still have no clue how to approach Young Avengers
>which is why the Thunderbolts look more like the Dark Avengers
no they don't? Dark Avengers are villains literally cosplaying as the Avengers and using their names. Most of these characters have been in various Thunderbolts runs, even before the recent synergy issues came out. This seems conceptually more in line with the team when they fought against Hyperion, merged with the one a few years back with Bucky investigating SHIELD's FAFO Kobik mishap leading into Pleasant Hill.
Also Ms. Marvel has contacted Kate Bishop and mentioned Cassie, so they're obviously working toward YA.
That's not the issue. The issue with Young Avengers is that the potential *young* actors are all getting *old* quick. Young Avengers should have been ONE movie and after that, they're just the regular Avengers. Christ, call it New Avengers instead.
That's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to marvels problems. The audience didn't connect with the young avengers in general so marvel lost faith in them and are trying to back pedal to the old stays but let's face it, rdj turns 60 this year and Chris Evans is 42. So marvel is fricked with the task of actually having to make new content without relying on failsafes
I have Loki fatigue and I’m sick of him, it’s confirmed he’ll play a big part in Deadpool 3, please tell me the obnoxious ass character has nothing to do with this film.
Insiders say she has a big fight scene with the Sentry in the second act.
What is Walker's dynamic with the rest of the team? Is he treated like a joke? What's up with his kids?
Insiders say he and his wife have a baby son now, and he's really determined to make up for past mistakes, so he's the one in the most denial over Val fricking them over. Sounds like he mostly just interacts with Yelena (trying to call the shots instead of her and failing) and Red Guardian (who really wants to be Walker's friend and Walker doesn't).
I feel bad for Stan but he should have hit the '9' or next to that final '9' on his initial deal with this turd so if he signs up for more, it's all on him.
Otherwise this looks like an even more awful collection of D-List types than even GotG and even some marketing generated AI-selected soundtrack won't be enough to push it into real theatrical popularity absent normies shitty need to Watch-Every-MCU-Production that pushed Captain Marvels and some of the other films into BO success and obviously doesn't exist enough to do anything for these turds in a post-Endgame era.
Other than US Agent and Bucky, I don't care, and it's more to do with the actors rather their characters. I also like Julia Louis-Dreyfus though I guess.
Normie-tier tastes there. Psycho Cap's redemption arc where he struggles against his blind patriotism is far more interesting than washed up stagnating Bucky who honestly should have retired by now. And creepy goth ghost girl is way more fun than widow 2.0 whose only skills are quips and flipping around. I already dread how the plot is going to have to justify her existence as the main character when anyone else on the team should be able to curbstomp her. She's not even the best at espionage, the way that Natasha could claim. They're going to make her some 'heart of the team' bs to save Sentry with the power of her being sad about him hurting everyone, just you watch.
Any gay stuff in it?
Ghost and Taskmaster are lesbian-coded.
You already know the answer to that.
I work in a lot of movies, but this is only my second with Marvel.
>lesbian-coded
>yuri bait
No real representation then?
Nope. Did you see the new Ghostbusters movie? You know how it is between Egon's granddaughter and the ghost girl? Same energy.

How? The T-Bolts are a bunch of low-to-no powered jobbers.
>He nests in a small town, warping it into a hellscape, and prepares to do the same to the rest of the world.
Like Wanda?
That wasn't Wanda's goal at all.
I don't mean the exact goals, but a reality warper taking over a small town is a recent plot with Wanda. Why do it again?
>Ghost and Taskmaster are lesbian-coded.
I swear you have to good character and the best you can do is lesbian.

This shit right here. I read the thunderbolts and loved ghost on the team. Ideally I would like the movie with Guost on the thunderbolts. But you have this nothing of a character.
Two questions:
1. Red Hulk?
2. Would you rather be working on a better film?
No.
I've worked on worse.
Why the asterisk in Thunderbolts*? Is it a 2-parter? Dark Avengers? Black Widow 2?
Dark Avengers.
Sentry is pretty much the comics costume with MCU textures and Y-shape, and no big ass belt. Void is the same costume, but red and black rather than blue and yellow.
Taskmaster.
Yeah, I think it will do well.

Sentry'd.
Will do.

No one working on a movie that turned out to be hot garbage on actual release thought so in mid-stream son.
Particularly if you are something like a second unit PA.
Come back here when you get an actual post production job and I don't mean VFX.
>lesbian
ducking dropped
>You already know the answer to that.
She's back on Earth?
>Ghost and Taskmaster are lesbian-coded.
Boring. They should play Ghost like the paranoid freak that he is. Iron Man VR succeeded doing that to a female Ghost as well, why the laziness?
Yeah first question; why did they have the shittiest team roster possible, essentially leftovers from Black Widow no one wanted? Only decent choices here are US Agent and Ghost
>didn't watch black widow
I did and it was fricking boring
>why did they have the shittiest team roster possible, essentially leftovers from Black Widow no one wanted?
They killed all the good villains off.
You saying we could’ve had Mysterio if he didn’t die?

Any Carol
Why do they think audiences want to see this? Why is Florence Pig the team leader?
how did you end up working on it
Where's Jolt?
Why don't you to to Cinemaphile?
I only care about Sentry. Tell me all about him. His role, his look, how it ends for him, etc.
What does sweaty Florence Pugh smell like?
Like Pugh.
does Florence have a phat ass????
You gay?
Who dies?
Do you like what you’ve seen so far?

What role is Grace Caroline Curvy playing?
Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman.
Also I much prefer her maiden name. The Caroline is a bit unnecessary, Grace Curry is enough.
>Carol's gf is in
Nice
there wasarumor of squadron supreme being on this movie
Is this right?
Nice.
Do you have any photos of the set?
What’s your preferred pizza toppings?
What is it like to work with Marvel? Are they abusive or is it good to work with?
This is not Thunderbolts. Why are they calling it Thunderbolts.
creative bankruptcy, and a desperation to appeal to things people might recognize
They weren't even sent by General 'Thunderbolt' Ross
Frick off, Ross.
>Justice like lightning must ever appear to some men's ruin but all men's fear

Wasn't the lineup after Civil War actually the best-selling iteration of Thunderbolts?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
What I referred to is they don’t know whether to make Young Avengers a movie or series
I'm sure they know and that they'll officially announce it at the con circuit this summer. Which would you prefer for it?
That's not the issue. The issue with Young Avengers is that the potential *young* actors are all getting *old* quick. Young Avengers should have been ONE movie and after that, they're just the regular Avengers. Christ, call it New Avengers instead.

What is Walker's dynamic with the rest of the team? Is he treated like a joke? What's up with his kids?
Why does Marvel keep making shit nobody wants instead of easy slam dunks with characters that have proven track records.
No offense, but nobody on earth gives a shit about Thunderbirds
Is Laurence Fishburne or Rachel Weisz in this?
You were just humiliated on Cinemaphile.
Do you have any tangible proof?
Can you set me up with Florence Pugh?
It’s so cool they keep ripping off Korvac Saga but won’t just do it
How you doing?
