i know someone will say >you must not have seen many movies then
but they're wrong. i've seen hundreds of shitty films over the years but deadpool stirs some reflexive disgust in me, like having food poisoning or the shits.
Yeah I mean Adam Sandler’s cohorts can make some pretty crappy comedies but this makes no sense why it’s a thing? A guy with a baby dick can premature ejaculate and that somehow makes him a pornstar? That’s not even half a sentence of an unfunny joke it’s fricking nothing.
Of the top of my head, Joss Whedons Justice League? I think I remember that one as sucking the most because I rarely go to movie theaters & I did for that one. The whole way home I just got more & more annoyed the more I thought about it. It was such a slap in the face, like it was almost on purpose how terrible it was. It was trying to be absolute shit, to the point that you know it was on purpose. They didn't want anyone to get confused that they made a complete mockery of the film & the audience.
I was gonna say the AVGN one but holy shit I remember watching this and thinking how dogshit it was, being a Predator fan and all. The autistic kid, the moronic predator dog they befriend, and the cherry on the shit sundae is the iron man predator suit at the end.
Yeah I have no clue why film snobs in the Eighties creamed their pants on Paris Texas? It’s just about Harry Dean Stanton is a moron who had a kid and he’s nowhere as endearing as say Forest Gump at least. That’s it, that’s the movie. It almost feels like the German director was trying to troll but people were too stupid and took this film seriously.

Paris Texas is kino how can you get filtered by that?
Either Rise of Skywalker or Jurassic World 2. Jurassic World 2 in particular made me fricking angry at how bad and unlikeable everything was. For RoS I expected nothing so it was more tolerable.
The second Fantastic Beasts movie. One of the few times I've ever fallen asleep in a movie theater. I'm all for going to see bad movies with your buddies and making quips the whole time like Statler and Waldorf but this was just too terrible to even muster up the energy to joke about it
ITT: people that watch only mainstream Hollywood movies
Try watching ZZZ-grade shit made by buddies with a phone around their neighborhood. That shit will make anything you think is the worst seem like The Godfather in comparison.
You can blame Coppola and his weird insufferable autism on that. Going by interviews and his own DVD commentaries anything he doesn’t understand he won’t put in his films. So if he doesn’t gamble and doesn’t know how to do it he won’t show it, simple as.
there is a lower threshhold floor of production quality for discussions like these, i.e. something that wasn't made for a local public access tv channel
Ever? Hard to say, I watched a lot of awful shit as a teen without really absorbing any of it.
Worst I've seen in theatres?
Now You See Me.
I was still fresh off of the Sherlock Holmes "there never was any magic, and here's how/why" high. I fully anticipated more of that. It's a movie about stage magicians. It's meant to be grounded in reality. I absolutely wanted the peak of what sleight of hand and good propwork could achieve because they WERE NOT restrained by the typical hurdles involved with stage magic, this is a movie, they can do it right. Right?
Wrong.
You get CGI magic tricks and the only explained one is "lmao we used a mirror to hide the safe and pretend it was already stolen". Isn't that FUN? Were you not ENTERTAINED?
waited the whole fricking movie for a payout that never came, just a bunch of fartsniffing smug "we outsmerted u" bullshit
i was offended they made a sequel. Aside from meme webms and brief clips of their slide ride across the planet, I haven't seen it.
I hear they attempt to explain some of the tricks done in that one but it just falls flat and feels about as serious as the Metroman "death" flashback/explanation in Megamind
I remember this whole board seething when that movie dropped, for the exact reasons you mentioned. At the time I thought it was an okay flick but didn't care enough to catch the second one, so I guess Cinemaphile was right
Objectively?
Probably something like Epic Movie and its variants because of my friends. They were complete trash, but it was expected.
But for me, the worst kind of shit comes from recommendations.
Some girl I knew who constantly self-proclaimed as a cinephile recommended me The Tourist because it was the best movie ever and the twist ending was amazing.
It wasn't. It was a big piece of shit and the twist ending was moronic. I absolutely hated that garbage.
Red Lights, Now You See Me and the Sherlock show fall into that too.
In terms of mainstream film and not some moron SOV film, Fan4stic was so bad it's interesting. It's supposed to be a fun superhero film and it's shot like a genocide. The entire time you're in the theater just waiting for Amon Goeth to come out and shoot israeli kids.
fantastic 4 with chris evans and jessica alba at least TRIED to be fun, while having the whole plot be "we're going to argue amongst ourselves until the last 10 mins when we clue in that there's a bad guy"
I distinctly remember thinking that both Saw and Transformers were the worst movies I had ever seen when they were released. No others really come to mind.
I thought it was ok except for the gross hot dog fingers. but also the bad acting of Jaimie Lee Curtis. After seeing this movie I realized I really do not like her.
I www ir with a bunch of buddies. Most of them thought it was "ok", my gay (bisexual) soi friend thought it was "amazing". I thought it was absolute shit. Literally all the worst aspects of Rick and Morty crammed into a movie that felt like it lasted an eternity. I got maybe 2 chuckles out of it, but most of the "comedy" fell completely flat and pissed me off for how smart it thought it was. Nothing original or clever about the script, the action was mucky and the DRAMA was tedious as frick. Not the worst film I've ever seen, but it was a genuine 3/10 for me and I was fricking perplexed how this got so much praise (even won an Oscar I think?) I felt like I watched a completely different movie to the Redditors and critics who praised it
The only worse movie I've seen in cinemas was Bill & Ted 3. Man that was painful, I should've walked out but I didn't want to piss off my mates
Torn on this one; it's definitely reddit, but at the same time, I have a massive hardon for middle aged asian women; especially when they look their age.
Yup this. I at least enjoyed laughing with my friend at the hobbit shitfests but that movie was just painful and boring.
You'd think hollywood would be experts at channeling the autism of a junkie pedo but I gues not.
For some reason in the mid 2000s early 2010s I noticed my friends always had ripped copies of every Scary Movies on DVDs and I still don’t know why? Like they torrented, downloaded then burned to a dvd Meet the Spartans like why the frick why?
I didn't think it was that bad.
The issue I had with it was that, once you break it down, the guy they were interrogating didn't really have any motive. >im going to let you catch me so that you can torture me but i can mindfrick you >ha! there was a bomb that i didnt tell you about so you only found 3/4 bombs instead of 0/4 if i had never let myself get caught in the first place
Based and pointless pilled
I always assume the hate for fury road came from fans of the series who hated the change in direction, hated losing Gibson etc. of which I am one, and feel that way a bit, but I still enjoyed the movie.
No, I'm not joking. I can go into more detail, but essentially while I've seen worse films on a technical level, this was the one I was the most fricking bored watching.
the way it was filmed isn't what bothered me, it was literally everything else
the terrible writing, acting, the stupid story, trying to make itself seem important, profound, and "clever"
the way it was filmed isn't what bothered me, it was literally everything else
the terrible writing, acting, the stupid story, trying to make itself seem important, profound, and "clever"
I completely agree. It was disappointing too, because I thought the premise was actually interesting. But it was just so bad
In terms of recent films, Leave the World Behind. Yeah, let's make a survival film where all the characters are insufferable c**ts and you spend the entire movie hoping they'll just be killed off, but instead they just argue about what to do and end up doing nothing.
I think Manos sucks so much is going by the threadbare plot you know it should’ve had more scares but it didn’t it’s only kinda creepy. It should’ve had more blood and gore but nope barely any violence is shown. It also should’ve had more sleeze like nudity or at least more skin from the actresses since it was planned to be shown in drive thrus but I’m assuming the actresses involved also kiboshed that. They had a very little girl in the cast which for most horror movies tends to be a no no having children around. The director even got the wife cast she was some up and coming model he probably wanted to casting couch her. But any of the potential zaniness of the movie was squandered because the director had very little experience. He was only involved in his regional theater and was an extra on a couple television shows that was all he had for previous film experience. It shouldn’t have been hard to make a gory sleezy grindhouse flick for cheap back then because a lot of those were made but the director was a total dipshit. That’s why we get like 25 minutes of driving montage in a 75 minutes film. It’s total amateur hour.
it was one of the first movies done on digital cameras
and how does that make it a shit movie?
are you one of those morons that thinks the quality of a video game is equal to the quality of its graphics?
watching Star Wars: Last Jedi was genuinely insulting. I pirated it and even then I felt like I got ripped off. I've never felt such hostility and disgust toward a movie before.
Yeah it was pure girl-slop. Really cheap-looking and gross production design, and the conception of "Barbie world" was lame. Casting Margot as Barbie only works superficially, she didn't have any whimsy or charm that I'd actually want to see from Barbie. And of course it came out in currentyear so they had to shoehorn a vaguely feminist message with some pretentious "intellectual" dialogue. Even putting memes aside, Ken was the only part of that movie worth watching, and was actually a pretty funny and lighthearted take on "masculinity", but Greta and her israeli husband had no idea how to tackle femininity in a similar way
The worst thing about Chunking Express is it brought chink cinema to the West and now women have to watch those gawdawful K-dramas etc as a result. It was that “omg Asians are so philosophical and romantic and depressing and shit” type trends.
Slenderman 2018 comes to mind. Saw it in with a bunch of friends and only 2 other people in the theatre, hilariously bad we were laughing the whole time.
Yeah I was quite meh, I enjoyed Fallen Angels a lot more
The lone ranger, which surprised me because I was aware it had bad reviews and thought to myself ehhh critics are full of shit it’s probably fine. I walked out halfway through and I was watching it at home
There’s comics based on the whole Verotika stuff which I’m assuming are better and not good adaptations for the screen because you’d need an Astro-sized budget for all the Hellraiser type effects?
The Room is actually entertaining in its bizarre badness, which paradoxically puts it above thousands of other bad movies which are just boring dogshit through and through.
Yeah the Room and Neil Breen movies are good because they feel so moronic in their set ups it’s like watching a green shitpost in live action. Now compare another wtf film After Last Season that came out around the same time as those and it’s just boring repetitive drivel with none of the charm of Wisseau or Breen. That shows some films can have some of the same elements but none of the magic.
The ending was the kicker for me, his little speech about how you should just ignore the outside world & only focus on your shit, who cares if you are a game was too on the nose. Like the elites were straight up telling the poors to stay in their lane, here is a flashy moving picture to shut you TF up
Heh not knowing this is Free Guy I’d assume the film you’re talking about is like Ready Player One or the second Wreck It Ralph or any other of Disney and Netflix drivel out there about staying in your apartment and consume don’t ask questions etc. Seems odd these movies popped up all of a sudden? Even films like Tron and the Matrix were unique for their times and their message was no fight the system no matter what too.
i mostly pick up recommendations from random posts around here, and some guy on Cinemaphile recommended Soft and Quiet and to not look up anything about it. huge fricking mistake.
movie is a worthless persecutory fantasy where the director imagines being the victim in one of those "racist karen gets mad at asian clerk" viral tweets and then stretches it out into 90 minutes of white women being evil. i've never been a fan of racial ragebait in any context, but if i were to say those clips had any sort of power it's suspended in the knowledge that they're real. this is a completely fictional movie based on something "believable", so outside the fact that i don't care to waste 90 minutes on twitter/reddit/misc/ watching random clips meant to make me mad anyway, it completely loses any sort of grip it might have had.
it's also shot in a fake one-take style further solidifying my belief that anyone who does that is a hack
That poster. Jfc it does look like it’d be hell watching it too. No one should base a movie on a thirty seconds Tik Tok short but I’d imagine we’re in for a lot of that incoming now.
Worst movie I've ever finished, and the only reason I finished it is because i was with my family and extended family all out for movie night - and we all carpooled. Otherwise I would've walked out of the theatre after the first 30 minutes
The worst part is they sequel baited another film and this time they’d be versus Moriarty with a bit more of a parody to the Guy Ritchie films (which some people legit enjoyed). But why not just do that in the first place? Make a traditional Sherlock film that might have more over the top gross jokes instead of whatever the frick this was?
i always think the mark of a truly bad movie is if you can barely remember anything about it. because then you know, it truly didn't move you at all, in any way.
rise of skywalker is one of those movies. the only thing i remember is thinking that it was absolute shit.
I know the entire ironic appeal of Starship Troopers is >Haha bugs go boom , kill em all
But it's such an overrated movie. The anime they made was a lot better, and the book (which Verhoeven admits he never even read) is about 5% combat and 95% speculation on military ethics what the end of the cold war could look like.
The worst I've seen was this shitty lifetime movie featuring Stephen Merchant where these two unhappily married people just b***h about how terrible marriage is and how hard living is and the grand realization they have at the end is that they should leave each other and get married to these other people so the answer to marriage is bad was just get married again. I don't remember the name of it but so pessimistic while at the same time obviously written by a moronic woman
Arrival was ok until they got to the "we must all come together in a one world environment" type crap & that's when I realized I got bamboozled by another propaganda movie.
A few off the top of my head: >Elektra >We're All Going to the World's Fair >Skinamarink >Epic Movie >Dragonball Evolution >ATLA live action >Wicker Man remake >Prom Night remake >The Happening >IO >fem-Ghostbusters
Not sure which I'd pick but definitely one of those. Probably Elektra or World's Fair
skinamarink is the only movie i've seen in theaters that I've willingly left back and forward constantly it was so unbelievably mind numbingly boring. That whole movie were just shots of a wall for like 5 minutes at a time with an occasionally shitty jumpscare. A complete fricking waste of time.
There are many worse movies but to me it is Ralph Breaks the Internet / Wreck-It-Ralph 2.
The movie literally takes everything the first one did and throw it in the frickin trash, turns back all character development and turn Ralph in a annoying dad and Penellope into a shitty brat, forces a horrendous Disney princess cameo which manages to even shit their own stories with "strong and powerful women" speech and has imagine dragons on it.
Sometimes things should be left to rest, a shame this isn't a know idea on the entertainment industry.
i remember the fricking day, it was 2017 and After watching Drive (2011), I wanted to see other Ryan Goslyn films. There was a thread about Ryan Goslyn in this mongolian honeypot and asked what good movies he had, and you frickers said song to song (2017), and I watched it, and it was so fricking annoying, omg, the camera work, the austistic screaming, the hipster characters, I hated it, and then 2 years later, I watched Synecuck New York, because YMS said it was his favorite movie, and said well, if this furry mtf who watches like 3 movies a day says it is his favorite movie, it must be good and was the most fricking boring as shit movie i ever saw in my life. It was a movie for suckers with no testicles. like evangelion for beta male snobs.
unironically deadpool
You sound like my mom. Not even joking, she HATED Deadpool
i know someone will say
>you must not have seen many movies then
but they're wrong. i've seen hundreds of shitty films over the years but deadpool stirs some reflexive disgust in me, like having food poisoning or the shits.
deadpool is really fricking boring. i fell asleep in theater with friends while watching deadpool 2. it was a great nap
Deadpool 2 was one of those movies were getting up to take a piss felt like a welcome break.
That’s too funny anon.
Either Deadpool 2 or the Thor movie where they are in the space arena thing with hulk. Both recommended by my son for movie night
good answer actually. shit is dated with fricking Adventure Time and infomercial references and shit like that.
It was bad but not even the worst film I saw that week
all time? that's a hard call but the worst i've seen recently was Bullet Train. shit was so reddit i had to turn it off halfway through.
Bullet Train is definitely the worst movie I’ve seen recently.
The one with the all black aircrew in WWII, red tail hawks or something.
Horrible flick, nonsensical plot, bad CGI
In the beforetimes, Ultraviolet. Lately, everything.
>Ultraviolet
me too
bucky larson: born to be a star
Yeah I mean Adam Sandler’s cohorts can make some pretty crappy comedies but this makes no sense why it’s a thing? A guy with a baby dick can premature ejaculate and that somehow makes him a pornstar? That’s not even half a sentence of an unfunny joke it’s fricking nothing.
the platform

Either Lucy or Master of Disguise. Kangaroo Jack is up there as well.
>He’s not turtley and for the turtle club
Not gonna make it
That phone call with her mother in Lucy was the most embarrassing thing ive ever watched
the predator 2018
I was gonna say the AVGN one but holy shit I remember watching this and thinking how dogshit it was, being a Predator fan and all. The autistic kid, the moronic predator dog they befriend, and the cherry on the shit sundae is the iron man predator suit at the end.
The English Patient if we're trying to be objective.
That or "Paris, Texas"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris,_Texas_(film)
Yeah I have no clue why film snobs in the Eighties creamed their pants on Paris Texas? It’s just about Harry Dean Stanton is a moron who had a kid and he’s nowhere as endearing as say Forest Gump at least. That’s it, that’s the movie. Paris Texas is kino how can you get filtered by that?
I don't watch movies
I've seen films that are technically "worse" but I usually get some enjoyment out of them. This was the most boring film I've ever seen.
boring how?
Bullshit, its no better/worse than any other capeshit movie, it also has a spiderman3-esque cringe montage
hard up between rubber, gb2016, and death laid an egg.
Either Rise of Skywalker or Jurassic World 2. Jurassic World 2 in particular made me fricking angry at how bad and unlikeable everything was. For RoS I expected nothing so it was more tolerable.
don’t even know what it’s called, bu the movie with gosling and cloonenly
Ides of March. Looking back it had a pretty solid cast.
>Philip Seymour Hoffman
>Paul Giamatti
>Marisa Tomei
You are absolutetly right
The worst part is that the secondary cast is amazing
But george and ryan fricks it up
The second Fantastic Beasts movie. One of the few times I've ever fallen asleep in a movie theater. I'm all for going to see bad movies with your buddies and making quips the whole time like Statler and Waldorf but this was just too terrible to even muster up the energy to joke about it
Yeah that was shitty. Was so boring. Everything from the first movie was undone too so it was all just pointless
That one was shockingly bad. Felt like a shitty youtuber's 90-minute recap of a whole tv season reather than a movie.
Not objectively the worst but I really really hated The Martian
The one with the boat and dwayne johnson
ITT: people that watch only mainstream Hollywood movies
Try watching ZZZ-grade shit made by buddies with a phone around their neighborhood. That shit will make anything you think is the worst seem like The Godfather in comparison.
The Godfather is the worst movie ever
House of the Dead 2 (2005).
The fact 2 took place primarily in Las Vegas and there wasn't a single memorable or significant card playing scene makes it worse by default.
You can blame Coppola and his weird insufferable autism on that. Going by interviews and his own DVD commentaries anything he doesn’t understand he won’t put in his films. So if he doesn’t gamble and doesn’t know how to do it he won’t show it, simple as.

that doesn't really count
there is a lower threshhold floor of production quality for discussions like these, i.e. something that wasn't made for a local public access tv channel
I don't count that kind of shit because it barely even qualifies as a "real movie."
if you include that garbage you may as well include youtube videos
>Try watching ZZZ-grade shit made by buddies with a phone around their neighborhood.
Think I'll pass
Oh shut the frick up you tedious c**t, you might as well say random 9 second YouTube videos are eligible.
Godzilla King of the Monsters. If I weren’t with friends I would have walked out when the woman was giving her speech.
If it weren’t for Farmiga I probably would’ve walked out. Sucks she sacrificed herself at the end

The Tourist is just a big romantic exotic fantasy situation for women.
In cinemas? The happening or that awful HP movie where Dumbledore dies.
Recently, that reddit movie about a family vs Apple robots.

by waaaaay far
I thought this was a poster for the Love Guru at first? Another waste of time.
Not the worst I've ever seen but this is what always sticks out in recent memory. The most miserable I've been during a film in the past few years.
that's interesting as I really enjoyed it
I thought it was ok except for the gross hot dog fingers. but also the bad acting of Jaimie Lee Curtis. After seeing this movie I realized I really do not like her.
it's ok to be a cum gargling homosexual

Any movie starring or directed by mel gibson
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Ugliest movie ever made. I paid to see it in a theater and I literally wanted to kill myself 15 minutes in
Yup this. I at least enjoyed laughing with my friend at the hobbit shitfests but that movie was just painful and boring.
You'd think hollywood would be experts at channeling the autism of a junkie pedo but I gues not.
Venom 2
it was like the quintessence of capeshit
My friend took us to the theatre to see it, his mom paid the tickets
can't remember when i saw it
can't remember why I saw it
but I did, and I remember way too goddamn much of it for my comfort
2004, it is a shitty remake of the French one
i don't think i saw it when it released. definitely not in theatres
sad because the french version was SOVL
probably meet the spartans or one of those other shitty parody movies.

The Squid and the Whale is an ugly, miserable movie
Either Inside Out or Perks of Being a Wallflower
>based on the true story of a monke’s best friend.
I watched this the other week and I've been thinking about it since
I didn't think it was that bad.
The issue I had with it was that, once you break it down, the guy they were interrogating didn't really have any motive.

Also watched Suicide Squad with friends and I thought it was pure garbage.
I really hated The Thin Red Line
At least you admit you're a sparklet
in the cinemas mad max fury road

you must be some sort of woman or a gay
The new exorcist movie
Cruella
No, I'm not joking. I can go into more detail, but essentially while I've seen worse films on a technical level, this was the one I was the most fricking bored watching.
The Annie remake. That shit was so fricking garbage that I walked out of the theatre.
wtf are you doing seeing Annie
Was forced to go with my family. Even they absolutely fricking hated it.
this one always immediately comes to mind
If you think of it as a filmed play, I think it's fine.
the way it was filmed isn't what bothered me, it was literally everything else
the terrible writing, acting, the stupid story, trying to make itself seem important, profound, and "clever"
I completely agree. It was disappointing too, because I thought the premise was actually interesting. But it was just so bad
This is the worst piece of shit I've ever seen. I can't believe there's people out there saying it's anything but ass.
You need to see worse pieces of shit then.
Show your face then homosexual

Black person
This movie sucked wiener but its worth it for that companion documentary which is a great watch.
Lets Talk About Sex
It’s between 88 minutes and Righteous Kill, both with acclaimed hack al pacino

In terms of recent films, Leave the World Behind. Yeah, let's make a survival film where all the characters are insufferable c**ts and you spend the entire movie hoping they'll just be killed off, but instead they just argue about what to do and end up doing nothing.
Manos was really bad. The worst sin it commits is being unbearably boring, even for a no-budget 60s flick
Good post and it definitely boils down to your last sentence. Just tons of wasted potential.
Counterpoint: It inspired a banger episode of MST3K. So that's more worth than most junk posted ITT.
I found out about it due to MST3K so fair enough.
Jesus Christ superstar, the conversation, Johnny got his gun, 28 days later to name a few, also brokeback mountain
how is 28 Days Later on that list?
Isn’t the whole movie in 480p? I just read it had an $8 million budget lol
it was one of the first movies done on digital cameras
and how does that make it a shit movie?
are you one of those morons that thinks the quality of a video game is equal to the quality of its graphics?
these guys still download DVDRips
Someone has to keep the dream alive, anon.
>the higher the pixel count the better the movie
Yep, it’s a moron.
Dogville. 3 hours of the director taking the living piss out of cinema.
Either that last Thor movie or that mini Matt Damon movie.
Frick I forgot about Downsizing. It’s also got that Asian chick from The Whale
watching Star Wars: Last Jedi was genuinely insulting. I pirated it and even then I felt like I got ripped off. I've never felt such hostility and disgust toward a movie before.
Barbie. I just didn’t get the hype. First 15 minutes were okay and then it just went down the toilet
Even putting memes aside, Ken was the only part of that movie worth watching, and was actually a pretty funny and lighthearted take on "masculinity", but Greta and her israeli husband had no idea how to tackle femininity in a similar way
Not the worst but I recently watched Chunking Express and I really don't get the appeal of these moronic and absurd asiatic movies
The worst thing about Chunking Express is it brought chink cinema to the West and now women have to watch those gawdawful K-dramas etc as a result. It was that “omg Asians are so philosophical and romantic and depressing and shit” type trends.
I read here yesterday “Amelie is just Chunking Express for non-weebs”
what is wrong with it? (i haven't seen it yet, but was planning on.)
Slenderman 2018 comes to mind. Saw it in with a bunch of friends and only 2 other people in the theatre, hilariously bad we were laughing the whole time.
Yeah I was quite meh, I enjoyed Fallen Angels a lot more
Lake Mungo (2008)
The lone ranger, which surprised me because I was aware it had bad reviews and thought to myself ehhh critics are full of shit it’s probably fine. I walked out halfway through and I was watching it at home
2013?
Yeah the army hammer movie
Verotika
a film by Glenn Danzig
There’s comics based on the whole Verotika stuff which I’m assuming are better and not good adaptations for the screen because you’d need an Astro-sized budget for all the Hellraiser type effects?
idk never read the comic. i just know that was the most schizophrenic, nonsensical movie ive ever seen
no one said The Room?
The Room is actually entertaining in its bizarre badness, which paradoxically puts it above thousands of other bad movies which are just boring dogshit through and through.
Yeah the Room and Neil Breen movies are good because they feel so moronic in their set ups it’s like watching a green shitpost in live action. Now compare another wtf film After Last Season that came out around the same time as those and it’s just boring repetitive drivel with none of the charm of Wisseau or Breen. That shows some films can have some of the same elements but none of the magic.
The Room is enjoyable because of how much of a failure it is and Tommy Wiseau is hilarious
Free Guy
Whoever wrote the script to that movie should have to face a firing squad.
The disney jerk off session when he fights the muscle man was the worst thing I've ever seen in a movie
The Ridiculous 6
What is the best movie any one who's not trolling has mentioned here?
Some moron said The Green Mile
The Conversation is kino
i mostly pick up recommendations from random posts around here, and some guy on Cinemaphile recommended Soft and Quiet and to not look up anything about it. huge fricking mistake.
movie is a worthless persecutory fantasy where the director imagines being the victim in one of those "racist karen gets mad at asian clerk" viral tweets and then stretches it out into 90 minutes of white women being evil. i've never been a fan of racial ragebait in any context, but if i were to say those clips had any sort of power it's suspended in the knowledge that they're real. this is a completely fictional movie based on something "believable", so outside the fact that i don't care to waste 90 minutes on twitter/reddit/misc/ watching random clips meant to make me mad anyway, it completely loses any sort of grip it might have had.
it's also shot in a fake one-take style further solidifying my belief that anyone who does that is a hack
Make a traditional Sherlock film that might have more over the top gross jokes instead of whatever the frick this was?
maybe star wars rise of the skywalker
i always think the mark of a truly bad movie is if you can barely remember anything about it. because then you know, it truly didn't move you at all, in any way.
rise of skywalker is one of those movies. the only thing i remember is thinking that it was absolute shit.
same for han solo the movie.
Starship Troopers. I have said so honestly, multiple times, on this web sight.
"It's afraid!"
Stupid fricking movie. I had to leave the room for like 15 minutes during that cave chase or whatever. It was that god-damn bad.
I know the entire ironic appeal of Starship Troopers is
>Haha bugs go boom , kill em all
But it's such an overrated movie. The anime they made was a lot better, and the book (which Verhoeven admits he never even read) is about 5% combat and 95% speculation on military ethics what the end of the cold war could look like.
Starship Troopers is taking on a new life because the movie is aware that it's dumb fun. And that sense has been sorely lacking in movies post Covid.
This was bad. Some old dude walked out of my theater after Sam Jackson gave the roman salute.
This might just be the worst thing Frank Miller has ever done.
leprechaun origins
>boring
>every character is boring
>leprechaun is a generic monster
Interstellar
The worst I've seen was this shitty lifetime movie featuring Stephen Merchant where these two unhappily married people just b***h about how terrible marriage is and how hard living is and the grand realization they have at the end is that they should leave each other and get married to these other people so the answer to marriage is bad was just get married again. I don't remember the name of it but so pessimistic while at the same time obviously written by a moronic woman
the second wreck it ralph was fricking awful
The Emoji Movie. I have seen it twice.
Do you have kids or something?
sausage party
When I saw it, the audience reaction to that food orgy at the end was top notch.
Arrival is overrated but I noticed Cinemaphile generally likes it which is odd.
Arrival was ok until they got to the "we must all come together in a one world environment" type crap & that's when I realized I got bamboozled by another propaganda movie.
Probably not the worst movie I've ever seen but Arrival is definitely the worst movie I watched anticipating that it would be good before seeing it.
Pink Flamingos. I was either too high or not high enough.
End of Evangelion
I was so hype to watch Altered States and I fricking HATED it
On the Line (2022)
A few off the top of my head:
>Elektra
>We're All Going to the World's Fair
>Skinamarink
>Epic Movie
>Dragonball Evolution
>ATLA live action
>Wicker Man remake
>Prom Night remake
>The Happening
>IO
>fem-Ghostbusters
Not sure which I'd pick but definitely one of those. Probably Elektra or World's Fair
>>We're All Going to the World's Fair
Yeah this movie sucked
I thought it would be spooky but LITERALLY NOTHING HAPPENS
ISS
Everything Everywhere All At Once
Bodies Bodies Bodies
Alien vs Predator Requiem was hard to watch
i turned off the newest Thor after 10 minutes
The second Thor was things to come how anyone tried to watch Thor 3 is beyond me?
He’s talking about Thor 4 kek
Frick they made four Thor movies now? I checked out awhile ago then.
Matrix 2
So fricking gay. Gay in every sense of the word
skinamarink is the only movie i've seen in theaters that I've willingly left back and forward constantly it was so unbelievably mind numbingly boring. That whole movie were just shots of a wall for like 5 minutes at a time with an occasionally shitty jumpscare. A complete fricking waste of time.
Angry Video Game Nerd Movie was physically painful to watch
There are many worse movies but to me it is Ralph Breaks the Internet / Wreck-It-Ralph 2.
The movie literally takes everything the first one did and throw it in the frickin trash, turns back all character development and turn Ralph in a annoying dad and Penellope into a shitty brat, forces a horrendous Disney princess cameo which manages to even shit their own stories with "strong and powerful women" speech and has imagine dragons on it.
Sometimes things should be left to rest, a shame this isn't a know idea on the entertainment industry.
off the to of my head, the mummy 2017
i want someone to eat cheese with
the last jedi
the rise of skywalker
spiderman no way home
alien covenant
prometheus
you really should watch more than just hollywood blockbuster sequels
why
That movie where the woman had a demon in the back of her head.
Rollerball the remake
Nothing is close
You just can't enjoy it
Antman quantum mania
That's My Boy. It was a free preview and I wish I didn't go.
The holy mountain. Its like something that should have never been made, but it exists unfortunately.
Yeah the director’s El Topo is good but most of his other films are a mees.
i remember the fricking day, it was 2017 and After watching Drive (2011), I wanted to see other Ryan Goslyn films.
2 fast 2 furious
