I saw the last 30 minutes and yeah its fricking shit. Sandler stopped caring years ago but Samberg I don't get, didn't he read the script? Or did he just want to work with Sandler so bad that he did the first movie that came his way?
I've heard Sandler treats his co stars well on his recent movies. Like grown ups is pretty much his old snl gang just hanging out and having fun with a loose story around it.
It's far from being the worst movie ever.
People who hate this movie are pretty dumb. it's basically a kid movie, you're not supposed to take it as serious art.
It's actually enjoyable if you watch it with the mind of a 10 year old.
Why did people treat that joke like it's the most witty thing ever? It's one of the easiest and laziest jokes ever, even I came up with that joke while watching the interview and I'm not even that funny
They didn’t treat it like the wittiest thing ever. Norm was shitposting through the whole interview. The timing made it: qt the end, on Conan‘s challenge, a turbo shitpost
Also he was shitting on the movie to the face of the lead actress who was there specifically to promote it
People were laughing at his audacity as much as the joke itself
It wasnt the joke itself, its that the last thing a guest on a talk-show has to do is shit on the whatever thing the show is plugging at the moment. The reason that girl was there isnt because shes funny or interesting, its because the show is paid to have her on to promote the movie, so people that watch the show go and buy tickets for it. Then theres Norm calling it box office poison and boring and ripping on CT. Also, for boomers watching mindlessly, its a genius joke
I often cite picrel when discussing the worst movies I've ever seen. The screenplay was godawful and the VFX were worse. Picrel is misleading as well, you could ogle Garner more in Dardevil than you could in Elektra
Good ol' Skywalker switcheroo. They completely retconned all the character development from previous movies and replaced them with characters and opinions that were simply direct opposite of what Woody and Buzz used to be.
Being third fiddle to sheepherd girl also didn't help.
Words just can't describe the script. Jodie Foster, looking for inspiration for the movie Nell asked for a screening of this and walked out 20 minutes in. It's so bad, but in such a way that it's good. The sheer audacity of the writer/director Rolf De Heer to present this script to South Australian Government film board and for them to give him the money blows my mind. I also helped pay for this movie through my South Australian tax dollars. Be still you little c**ts.

There's a movie called Pride and Glory with Edward Norton, Colin Farrell, and Jon Voight that I thought was terrible I couldnt make it through. Might have been because I was expecting better from the cast.
I love this poster. It's so awful.
Also I watched some Carrot Top stand-ups and I'm not a fan. His whole thing seems to be "look at this pun or celebrity related gadget! Now look at this pun or celebrity related gadget!".
It’s probably not the actual worst film I’ve seen but I thought that mid 90s had the biggest gap between critical response and the actual artistic worth of the movie I’d ever seen, parts of that movie are unbelievably stupid, it makes sense a fat, socially moronic and wealth sheltered moron like Jonah Hill wrote/directed it

I don't recall Samberg being particularly bad but I saw it at a free pre-screening so it's been more than a decade.

Heard Dan Akroyd is the same. A stand up 'Interesting' guy. Neighbors was good and had a small cult following. Would recommend.

Jack and Jill is even worse Sandlerslop
That was pretty bad but 50 First Dates was worse, tied with Jackoff and Jill.
The sudden incest plotline in this film was reslly strange

It's far from being the worst movie ever.

Yeah I was even a kid when I saw this and I thought it fricking sucked. Maybe the first movie to show me that movies could be bad.
