Would not be surprised if this was intentional, given that one of the characters calls Joe "a little Cinemaphile" or something to that effect.

Just watch Dexter, You is just Dexter but israeli and “progressive”

It is comfy to watch with your GF or something though if you’re bored

      >It is comfy to watch with your GF or something
They literally don’t do anything but spew israeli politics. At one point in the guy’s inner monologue someone says to him “Jews have a lot of money!” and he thinks “Is it even legal to say that?”

        Anonymous

Other time he was saying “that’s racist” or something like that in his inner monologue too.
It’s funny how he kills and locks up people but he draws the line at racism

Yeah his inner monolog is super annoying sometimes. I chocked it up to him being a self righteous weirdo murderer but I bet a lot of people don't see that and like him for it.

Yes and every season tries to reinvent itself so Joe's shtick doesn't get stale. It's worked well enough to get to 5 seasons.

Terrible writing but carried by the actors. I enjoyed it overall though because Joe is a kino literally me protag. Season 1 is generally good but then it gets laughably absurd

No, they are cheap way to engage an audience by appealing to the base, low-hanging fruit desires and urges. It is literally similar to fishing with a dynamite in order to get the audience to emotionally invest. It's pathetic, cheap israeli shit.

I think s1 is the best because a lot of the funny moments weren't intended to be funny. As the show progresses it tries to be funnier and it's cringe.

Joe has a better minority girl option in every season but fricks it up or goes for the White girl instead. Season 1 wifey material black girl, season 2 cute latina, season 3 Marianne.

Part 1 of season 4 is the only season I didn’t like, part 2 it becomes kino again. S1 and S2 are kino of the highest order and S3 is kino but needed a better ending. Joe is a kino protag.

Guys, in the vein of the thread, do any of you know the best way to track down a girl you once knew? I know where she used to work, the type of work she did before we met at that job, her vocational interests and general location of study/residence, her first name and I'm fairly certain of her last initial (my biggest regret is not reading her name tag carefully when I got the chance). She was taken when we met sadly, but i dont care anymore and would go for it given the chance now. I just developed a huge crush on her that hasnt died out and want to slide my way back into her life all smooth like.

I'm not some creepy psycho or anything like Joe, I just want a second chance. We got along in the brief time we knew each other and if she turned me down I'd grudgingly accept it. But I need to find her first. I tried searching through Facebook and Instagram with dozens of permutations of her first name + possible last names. I managed to randomly find all sorts of other people I'd once known on there. But no dice with the girl I'm looking for. I'd chase her to the state she's studying along with the general geographic area that I suspect she would live in locally, but that could take forever and be unnecessarily costly.

I have some tech skills given what I'm studying. If we were to suspend our disbelief a little, do you guys know if companies keep records of their employees after termination? And would I then potentially be able to find her through there?

Help an anon out, if I'm willing to go this far for love, don't I deserve it?

You literally sound the opposite of joe, go for it anon, you dont need help!

She's just so fricking pretty lads, and she was so sweet and easy to talk to. It's depressing how opportunities slip through the fingers like that. But there's a good chance she'd stop being so pretty soon anyway, so sour grapes thought it sounds, maybe I need to find another woman to chase after.

But I'm still gonna try and find her again, it'll be like my little project. And if I do, I'll use my cunning to slowly mold her into the perfect woman, although she's close to perfect as is. I just think she deserves better than whatever dickhead she was with, and I want to be that better someone. I think we're a good match and the only reason we didn't end up together is bad luck. Curse this gay earth, but I will fight for my dreams.

Don't listen to morons here. Yeah, it has woke moments. But what the frick doesn't these days. Even Dexter had woke moments before woke was popular.

It's worth watching if you like serial killer and stalking kino. Finale of the last season was based. Joe is annoying at first but grows on you.

it's ok but gets worse into the later seasons, kind of silly I guess but it's almost interesting to see what could possibly happen next, anyway my wife likes it so we watch it together

Probably not. I have seen all seasons because my cousin told me it was great but the endless internal monologuing gets old pretty quickly. The show does have its moments though but the majority is a slog to get through.
also Candace still being alive and coming back was fricking moronic

I liked season 1 for what it was. Season 2 had some good moments. Season 3 and 4 were hilariously bad. I knew 3 was dogshit the moment the Covid episode about the dude who doesn’t believe in vaccines was shown.

It’s like dexter but for women. Poorly written and has a very soap opera feel to it. Big focus on relationship drama and the actual deaths are softened to not put off squeamish women. Watched it with my ex and made it through 2-3 seasons, I’d give it a 5/10.
