      yes

Wrong, he would have turned into a psychopath who beats his wife and children and is basically ready to commit a mass shooting at the drop of a hat. The truth is, it was already too late for him at that point - if your kid is that spoiled by the time he’s like 16 or so, you’ve fricked him for life. Something like military school is just going to screw him up even worse.

A psycho is still better than a whimpering little b***h.

No it isn’t, moron. Psychos hurt people, damage society, end up consuming resources due to institutionalization or imprisonment. Candy asses are just candy asses, they can still contribute to society somehow.

Yeah and that makes for kino TV. It's cool.

Is there even one example of some upper middle class kid who grew up with friends and went to military school and went on some rampage? I don't think there is. Those kids are usually poor weirdo single mom weeb/nerd losers that had no friends growing up.

Vets and people engaged with military training and boot camp are known to commit domestic violence and tend to get in legal trouble more than the average civilian, not to mention “accidentally” murdering each other during hazing rituals (which is a documented phenomenon)

He was going to a military school for rich kids moron. AJ was not enlisting in the army...
                >Muh hazing rituals
Yeah just like most American colleges with frats and such

Trump also went to such a school since he was too stupid to even get into Harvard with connections ala George W. Bush.

Either way we would've gotten kino. Following his life at an all boys school would have been interesting plus all the Tobin Bell scenes.

As long as the Saw dude was looking after him, absolutely. He sized AJ up immediately and knew how to get through to him, but instead of a potential father figure he gets Tony.

It was mostly Carmela and Livia that caused AJ to become the coddled b***h he was. Not saying that Tony didn't have some role to play in AJ's development but AJ might've had some backbone if he didn't let Carmela and Livia influence him so much

Yeah, getting beaten up by Tony besides being neglected by him would've done wonders.

Are you? Watch one of the blockbuster videos posted in this thread, Tony literally said he'd have knocked his baby teeth out if Carmella hadn't had her way.
AJ also moves out of Livia's house once Tony starts getting physical with him.

Yes, actually. all the dress and drill and inspections they do at military schools is mostly just a front. Upperclassmen run those places like the fricking mafia, selling smokes and other contraband, extorting and stealing from the weaker kids and spergs. He would have flourished

Might have given him the discipline, sense of camaraderie and belonging that he needed.
Or it might've broken him if the school and bullying was too harsh. Can't really say for sure.

The casualty rate in Iraq and Afghanistan was a joke.
You're more likely to die from a traffic accident than fighting in an American led war.

So what? Occasionally stressful situations on patrols, otherwise watching DVD's on the base and jerking off in a port-a-pot.

he would have benefited from getting out of that house and would likely have thrived in an environment full of his peers with, let's face it, mainly non-academic demands put on him. he probably wouldn't have done well in the actual military and a regular boarding school for rich morons is miles better as a fit, but of course carmela would never compromise her muh family values facade

I was a lot like AJ except I was a huge coward instead of a spoiled shit. I think I would've completely shut down if my parents signed me up for military school. I can barely deal with the anxiety and pressure of my job, anything involving the armed forces would break me, not to mention how I'd be a laughing stock there.

i spent 5 years at a military school from age 14-19.

AJ would fit right in, spend a year doing the military school BS then 4 years skating and shamming out of every formation and duty possible. His parents lofty donation to a failing school (srsly military schools are closing like crazy) would have kept him out of trouble with staff.
