They're the same person
Except Jared is gay and slightly more hammy
Jared isn't gay, he dated Sirena
In the final cut, yeah. But there were leaks to an earlier season where the finale had him and Dean were revealed to be dating. I'm guessing they dropped it in favor of the live triangle drama between the two brothers and Sirena later.
Making Dean gay seems like something they'd do in Season 1, but it seems cheap now.
Well then good thing it's just a scene that was dropped, and not technically canon.
Pretty sure this is just Hatred misreading the situation for comedy's sake
There's Dean's line in the final episode about "Sirenas and Jareds and CONFUSIONS" which is suggestive.
Spider-Man doesn't have perfect spider-pitch
True. He’s weak
Literally the same person but kinda worse, he'd probably just become part of the spider family and help Peter fight crime occasionally.
He'd relate to the poor bastard and be thankful his webbing doesn't come out where Brow Widow's does
The web jokes would be his hole persona
It'd be neat if they made a deal for him to show up in Spider-Verse.
Is he the most competent hero in Venture Bros?
Seems like it. He's not a man-child like Sunshine, and while he probably knows about the pecking order with villains like Wide Wale, he doesn't seem to be bought out like the Crusaders who basically work for Wale (or at least have been whipped into offering tribute to him)
He's literally Pete if he just got more of a bum deal, so I'd like to imagine yeah.
Sunshine is basically a manchild living with his dad who can barely handle any adult aspects of his life, granted Wonderboy dying probably really contributed more to that and just broke his mind than having always been a giant kid with no emotional control.
I think Sunshine and the Cruscaders are pros and relegated to all the OSI and Guild nonsense, while Jared is an amateur which basically means he's an actual hero who stops whatever crime. He'snot on Wale's radar because they literally have no business with eachother.
Tough to say. Wale seemed to have his finger in every pie he could get his hands on, so it's possible that Jared knows and won't frick with him if he knows what's good for him. But I guess he could be out of the loop, in which case he's probably fricked if he ever busted an operation that belonged to Wale. Of course, with what happened in season 7, I guess maybe Wale could have chilled enough to at least not put Jared's head on a pike, and there is the chance Sirena could bail his ass since she probably wouldn't want her father killing her ex
Peter would be alright with him but also rip on him and joke about suing him for copyright. Peter is iffy on people having similar gimmicks to him.
Jared would be somewhat desperate for his approval.
Jared getting the role of Spider-man on an off Broadway play sounds like it could be fun
He'd sympathize with him, since he got the same set of powers as him, but slightly shittier.
