Superman would probably beat Peter up really badly for trying to sell a baby to satan, or seething so hard at Paul
He doesn’t take kindly to that kinda thing

Sadly true for modern Pete. The OP pic hearkens back to better times when Peter was still a hero.

Lois and Peter would be a fun pair

A story where Peter gets scared of Silver Age Lois' autism with Clark being Supes
      >"not even Jameson was that obsessed"

the implication was that lois actually thinks clark is a great guy, but she lives in automatic so proving he is superman is her way to make sense that the nerd guy is actually incredible to hang out with.

oh that's kind of cute. i didn't know about that. they should use that in another adaptation sometime. have her almost-figure-it-out right at the start, but be obsessed with proving it because she so desperately WANTS to like both clark and superman.. she needs them to be the same guy
or hell recycle that premise in something else, for two guys who are NOT the same guy. wait I guess Sailor Moon did that.

Isn't Lois the same age as Superman and Lana? Peter actually goes and tries to ask Lana out in the second crossover.

It’s just that thing where everyone acts like Peter is “a young kid” because that was his original premise even though that only lasted like 10 issues and ever since he’s been a grown man same age as everyone. They do the same in marvel. Sometimes they did that with Jimmy Olsen. It just makes them creepy and weird to me, like they’re adults who mentally think they’re kids.

in fairness, he's short. You'd treat Tom Holland like a kid if you just met him.
also that is the norm now, they're gonna keep pushing adulthood further and further off. and yes it is creepy.

They are turning Miles into the adult Spider-Man.

Could be worse. You could be this Jerry Mahoney Pee Wee Herman-looking homosexual going “gee willikers I hope Superman marries my mom so he can be my da-da”, even though he’s working in the same damn office as this guy

This was the bronze age so they're actually probably fairly close in age all things considered. Peter should be still mid to late 20s while Superman and cast are in their 30s. So to them he's still fairly young but still an age where him going on a date with someone like Lana isn't that weird.

The first time Lois’ age was stated it said she’s 22. If we assume golden age Superman was born the same year as his creators then he’s in his 20s too

I feel like the bronze age should at least be a decade after the start of the Silver age though.

    hell yeah.
A comic crossover between just these two would be kino.

    >after fighting the big bad
    >"you know peter, next time there's something big I would be honored to work with someone like you, this world needs more friendly neighborhood spidermen."
    >"really? I mean no offense supes, but I don't think I'm cut out to be a part of the big leagues."
    >superman puts a hand on peters shoulder and they both look down to the street below them, aunt may and some civilians are being checked on by paramedics after being saved by the two of them. one of the civilians looks up to see superman and spiderman on the rooftop and gives them a thankful wave
    >"you already are."

    abso yes lutely.
Though there would be little differences, I mean it depends on what point in his career Superman is.. if he's been in Metropolis for a real long time, then yeah they'll be totally sympatico. If he like, just moved there from wherever he went to journalism school, Peter's streetwise Newyorkery might take a little while for him to get used to.
one thing's for sure, it's a good thing he's got super hearing, because otherwise it would be hilarimusing trying to have a conversation and Superman having to dip down into Spidey's swinging arcs as he flies along, until finally Pete's like "look can you just grab my web line and fly me there?"

Of course. They're both really nice, morally upstanding guys. Plus, Clark is a bit more permissive and laidback than Captain America, so he'd probably be all too happy to trade quips with Peter and entertain his quirkiness. Besides, if you can make friends with Batman, you can pretty much make friends with anyone.

They'd hate each other. Spider-Man wouldn't shut the frick up about New York and he wouldn't appreciate Superman's country boy shit.

Well the version of Spider-Man who met Superman is happily married and both have a decent jobs.
