Would you be okay with Futurama ending by revealing that the entire show was a result of Fry's dream after accidentally hitting his head on the floor, rather than actually falling into the cryogenic chamber?

No.
I would not care, because they would retcon it for the next revival.
have it end with Fry's child going back in time and fricking his great great great grandmother and causing the incest loop to loop even further
Twist: it's Fry's daughter masquerading as his grandmother.
And they're all just female versions of Fry.
>All You Frybies
Fry's granddaughter ends up having sex with him and Leela has to let it happen to preserve the space-time continuum.
Why? This is beyond cliche that even lampshading it is cliche. No one likes the “it was just a dream” type endings. I’m over futurama anyways so I don’t care how they end it for the 9th time
>I’m over futurama
same, I just can't take New York style "witty" humor anymore.
let's kill fry then
Since we're being honest about this show, this ending would be better than the last 2 seasons. futurama is that stupid
If only the writers had the balls
No. The “it was all just a dream” ending is a fricking cop out.
I think it would be stupid but it wouldn't stop me from enjoying the first few seasons.
Is there any time a "it was all just a dream" ending wasn't disappointing?
inception
A Christmas Carol. Nightmare Ned. The Goblins who Stole a Saxton. Though in two of those, it's implied it wasn't quite a dream.
It's ambiguous whether it was all a dream in A Christmas Carol
for another lousy year
>Weird... Why did my dream stopped and started again three times, every time with lamer writing and less episodes?
Frys brain was slipping more and more.
Also, do the dream ending, but 1 min before the end, it pulls back to show a "and thats what itd be like if we were a terribly written cartoon" ending.
What if instead of Futurama it was Futarama
Fry is so handsome~
Now imagine Billy Ol’ Boy doing that same line read today.
It doesn’t feel right to bully your elders, anon.
I would have been okay with Futurama ending at Season 4's finale. Nothing they have "added" to the series since has been any good. That original run was pure kino, everything that came after ranges from American Dad to Krapopolis in terms of quality and it's miserable.
No, that's stupid. Wouldn't mind a one-off episode around the premise though.
this song is still on my mind
>dude it was all a dream lmao
>it just won't die!
Futurama should not have been brought back. The absolute apathy the new season was met with and the way it was immediately forgotten is proof of that. This show has already done just about everything it could ever want at this point, which could explain why they're stopping so low as to do a covid episode or whatever the frick that toy anthology one was. Literally the only interesting thing they have left is Freela, but I still feel like the first two runs gave us plenty to work with, even ending on a once beautiful final note 10 years ago. Why can't popular things just END?
Hulurama doesn’t have Cubert so that instantly bumps it up to a 6/10.
Wait really?
Yes, really.
No, Cubert appeared in "I Know What You Did Next Xmas".
Doesn’t he also get his ice cream stolen by an owl?
>Futurama should not have been brought back.
says you
That sounds really bad actually.
WE’RE WHALERS ON THE MOON
Leela’s feet > Amy’s feet
Maybe, but
Amy pussy > Leela pussy
Debatable. But that Chinese Martian pussy do he hittin ngl
How does this even work? What does he insert?
robot penis of course
No that is stupid.
Matt Groening sucks dick n balls
proof?
>Cryo Chamber 40
Was that ever a significant detail?
DUUUUUUUUNg
only if it's to subvert expectations, and he'd hit his head in the future and hallucinated that it was all a hallucination
No, I’d fricking kill myself if that happened.
