He's got movies, games, comics, ogns, cartoon appearances and merch.

Yeah, he's been a-list for a while now. Probably since the first movie became the most successful R rated movie of all time.

Joker surpassed it when it came out but in 2016 DP was number 1 worldwide

He’s been an A-lister for a decade now dude

hasn't deadpool been fairly popular for like 20 years now? at least. my memory might be muddled by the fact that he was always popular around these parts before really taking off.

Dude has two successful movies, a video game and was in Lego Marvel Superheros. He's an A-lister.

Like Iron Man, who got a successful film franchise and then went back to obscurity?

everyone and their mom knows about iron man. he's arguably up there with spider-man, batman, and superman as one of the most iconic superheroes.

I don't think much time has managed to past for successful franchises to fall into obscurity yet

Maybe you need to look outside of comics

"Obscurity" doesn't mean "famous everywhere else but still not getting good comics", stupid little ESL Anon.

Listing doesn't mean shit, and hasn't for a very long time. By 's criteria, the Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther are A-listers because they have, or will have, the same thing, yet this board says they aren't for reasons.

Deadpool is probably an A-lister. But some of his cosplayers are buttholes.

Did you know for events you technically need to be a legally recognized cosplayer from the IP you're representing? You have to pass quality inspection, and represent the brand by being on your best behavior. I'm not talking about a regular con goer dressing up, I mean a paid cosplayer meant to stand around the con or event like staff

And why do I bring this up? Because if some dickbag dressed as Deadpool acts inappropriately at these events/cons, it's bad for business for everyone involved. Because of how the character acts, this somehow translates to every cringe lord that dressing up like Wade is a free pass to do whatever at cons and possibly creep on women

I think someone answering the letter column in-character for Cable & Deadpool once said they wanted to see Deadpool cosplayers at cons. If only they knew what was coming.
