A couple of years ago I didn't have access to the internet for 5 days, and I actually became so bored I contemplated getting a job. I went outside and asked a couple of strangers (who were working) if they needed help, they declined but I ended up mowing some old lady's lawn and got paid.
Like what would you even do if you were a NEET in the pre-internet days? Just stare at the TV all day?
no, I'm already a /tg/ nerd
it would make it harder since I can't pirate PDFs anymore but that's about it
>blackhats finally nuke Cinemaphile
>global economy rebounds
If the internet disappeared I wouldn't be able to get a job anyways. I would probably just walk around.
yea I'd sit at the TV like I used to at times when I didn't have a computer, I'd probably read more too.
Post more liminal spaces, I love that shit.

I'd probably read a lot of books and maybe write or draw. I can only enjoy TV in small amounts.
No, i would just play more games, watch more movies and read more books.
yeah id probably seethe and cope and mald but it would probably end up being a net positive for me
Related to television and film how?
He forgot to say ''movies for this feel?'' at the end of his post therefore offtopic
Your post is off-topic.
What am I supposed to do without the internet. Just die I guess.
I don't need the internet to play skyrim tbh
LULZ is at Cinemaphile/LULZ
i still have my computer
>Just stare at the TV all day?
is that really so different?
my social prospects would be a lot better because video rentals would be a thing again and people might talk about them to other frequent renters
>is that really so different?
Very much so. TV is extremely limited compare to internet access, you can play vidya, watch almost any movie or TV show you like, discuss anything you like, find any porn you like (probably a bad thing) etc.
With TV it's just a couple of channels that sometimes has entertaining stuff, and you can't pause, can't rewind a movie or show if you started watching in the middle of it etc.
>>you can't pause, can't rewind a movie or show if you started watching in the middle of it etc.
>2023
>Not having TiVo
Shiggy diggy
>it's just a couple of channels
my parents' tv (i don't own one) has literally hundreds of channels maybe even thousands and the ability to record stuff has been around for decades
yeah you are more limited in what you can watch at any given time but i usually have to go hunting for what i want to watch anyway so it'd just mean going to stores and asking them to source things
i think it would be better honestly like everything would be a lot more social and human
i'd still have games and stuff
i barely play multiplayer anyway because i don't have any friends
I dont think you realize just how much shit runs on internet. Like, you wouldn't be able to access your bank account without it, and I doubt people are gonna want to work if they're not getting paid.
Everything would slow down, you employer would actually give you money instead of transferring it over.
are you seriously so incapable of imagining what the world was like before the internet? have you never heard of standing orders or telephone banking? international finance existed hundreds of years ago and they didn't do it in cash
shoot bb gun
play nintendo
eat hot chip
NEET and the incel forcememe are elaborate, ineffective ways for the establishment to pretend that the standard of living is not declining. The answer isn't removing technology, it's improving the economy and ending neocon forever wars.
What are you going to do without internet -- own your own home? Don't think so, champ.
>I went outside and asked a couple of strangers (who were working) if they needed help; they declined
why the frick would they let you help? you don't know how to do anything.
