      Evil is a tangible thing.

america is an intrinsically evil wasteland of death and misery built on the corpses of millions of innocents and also fat people can't be trusted.

Some popular youtuber made a video on it
And to be quite honest with you, I'm contrarian enough to no longer want to read the book anymore just because of that

Troons are the ultimate contrarians. Everybody and everything says they're one gender, but they just HAVE to say they're another to be special.

Now the funny thing is we have Samuel Chamberlain‘a heavily sanitised diary which Blood Meridian is based on.
We have his illustrations of Judge Holden and he’s considered by Chamberlain to be dangerous and weird but not a man he would trust to run things.
It also looks just like Charles Webber with his beard (which is why he is described as hairless).
Charles Webber wrote some deeply nihilistic gothic fiction, wrote under the name Holden, came out of Oklahoma and Texas a year prior to Glanton’s expedition setting off, wrote some no -fiction about how you need to be ruthless to survive in Indian country and got in a bit of trouble for creeping on a young girl back east.

He then popped up in California, where Chamberlain parted ways with Holden. The only missing portion of his life being the year Chamberlain rode with the Glanton gang.
Also died a few years after the gang was slaughtered in Arizona during a filibustering attempt in Nicaragua.
He was just some pedophile who considered latinos and natives so lesser than him that murder was the natural recourse to disposing of a victim.

I despise how modern depictions of Glanton depict him as a mini Dutch van der Linde.

Should have alot of quite moments like Conan (1982)

I would watch a 2D movie that keeps all the violence and edgy stuff from the book. Since it’s animated it could even avoid an NC-17 rating.

There will not be a movie on it because the plot is so simple that there’s no plot at all

And the allure is the narration giving verbose descriptions of the land and the violence, there’s no way to make anything but a short movie on it

A few more years of AI development and you'll be able to roll your own.
    >A man's at odds to know his mind cause his mind is aught he has to know it with. He can know his heart, but he dont want to. Rightly so. Best not to look in there. It aint the heart of a creature that is bound in the way that God has set for it. You can find meanness in the least of creatures, but when God made man the devil was at his elbow. A creature that can do anything. Make a machine. And a machine to make the machine. And evil that can run itself a thousand years, no need to tend it.

Disney already adapted it as a movie called Home on the Range.
