No it's just uncommon. It's like the sort of enjoyment you would get from a competitive game is so far removed from the type of enjoyment you'd get from a normal video game that it's uncommon for somebody to like both. When you see a dude that plays something like Dota it's usually the case that he only plays Dota and Overwatch and CS:GO type stuff.

I mean the big difference between competitive games and normal games is that people play competitive games because they want some kind of recognition of skill as opposed to just enjoying the content of the game. Competitive games are all about the "balance" and the leaderboards so that a game like CS is reduced to "how fast can I move my mouse". Since competitive players' objective is to be ranked highly they spend their time trying to master the game so they can't really afford to spend time playing games for fun because all the other sweats are spending all their time mastering their mouse movement. You don't see hacking and sweats and leaderboards in normal games as much because the people playing them just want to have fun.

The lord in command starts to change plans after half the party is killed, and decides they will no longer be hunted. They start looking for ways to track down the predator, bot sure what could come of this part. Eventually the lords tiny party is face to face with a “cornered” predator. Turns out its a reverse scenario, the party has walked into the predators trap. Hes laidout other wordly traps and deadly tools to toy with the party. Eventually all thats left is three characters, the lord, his youngest samurai and his oldest samurai. The predator picks up a fallen samurais katana while standing menacingly before them. He offers a Japanese gesture of respect. They battle furiously and its obvious the predator is simply holding back and playing with them. Predator disarms the two samurai and then He slays the Lord. Predator then allows the other two to mourn his death. The predator tosses his blade in front of the older samurai and stares at him. The old samurai so ashemed he failed, takes his own life. The younger samurai refuses and stands back up. Realistically the young guy gets one shot but I cant think of a plausible way feudal samurai could fight a predator
Do a straight remake of Predator 2 set in Japan. He takes out a bunch of Yakuza while the "breaks all the rules" nip detective plays cat and mouse with him.
