Yeah, even though I'm a furry I wish we had more slice of life cartoons about talking animals. It feels like "talking animals" as a whole is a dead genre which kinda makes me sad. Every kids show has to be about...boring looking kids.
Furry animators that have enough energy to put out animations tend to lean towards that kitty bobo/parappa style of sol (early 2000s suburbia). A conservative furry slice of life would certainly be different from the norm
also furgays don't and never will live in a conservative area like it happened in KotH to take inspiration from because they would prefer writing a show happening in San Francisco or LA (where they moved in and now are leaving lol) and even if they write a setting taking place in the bumfrick middle of nowhere, it would be a romanticize version which won't work because in koth, it was too close to home it felt genuine the sort of town they live in and not what some city slicker imagine how living in a town looks like
