Namor has pretty much always been disgustingly hideous in the comics though. I know they like to say he's attractive, but that's hilariously incompatible with how he's drawn.

It's fascinating to me to see how many people who obsess over modern superhero movies actually seem to outright dislike the source material - all those Twitter posts people here were screencapping that were shitting on Kirby's art following the Eternal movie releasing were fricking embarassing.
Also I distinctly remember reading an review of MUA3 where the guy was complaining that the art style was "juvenile" because it still had one foot in the source material and wasn't just 1:1 the MCU designs.
All comic fans hate comics. They do it a little differently but its all the same underneath.
To be fair this Attuma design is pretty damn good. Namor's design isn't bad, but it's permanently marred by the fact that it's attached to a miscast.
Namor is pretty similar to his classic costume with added armbands and necklace for details.
